TB Joshua exploits the Philippine tragedy for his own gain

No matter what your views are on TB Joshua, there are hundreds of thousands of people suffering and mourning due to Typhoon Haiyan. Please consider giving a donation through a reputable charity such as the Red Cross or Tear Fund

Over 10,000 people are thought to have died when Typhoon Haiyan hit the Philippines. Many more have lost their homes and possessions. Shockingly, but not surprisingly (knowing his track record), TB Joshua sees this as an opportunity to increase his notoriety by releasing a video claiming that he predicted it.

Incredibly, even though we have twice before exposed SCOAN’s deceptive editing tricks, yet again they edit out certain details from the prophecy. For example, in the original prophecy (recorded on June 24th 2012), TB Joshua claimed the country name would start with “IN”. He also claimed the disaster would be imminent, even implying that it might happen within the next week. This was almost 17 months prior to the event actually happening. What’s more, in January 2013, he released heavily edited footage from the same prophecy to claim that he’d predicted a major flood in Indonesia (got the “IN” right there!).

In this hastily and shoddily edited video (sorry), we present to you footage from the Philippines prophecy, and the Indonesia prophecy. We don’t have footage of the original, unedited prophecy, so who knows what else has been edited out.

  1. The typhoon hit the Phillipines 4-5 days ago, looking at news reports. And it was predicted quite a while before that by *secular meteorologists.*

I note that TB Joshua’s “prophecy” isn’t dated. Hmmm.

    • who ever is jealous of TB Joshua is the devil himself…You will need to praise God for a such Man of God

  2. You people why can t you do something that will make you move on with life ? TB JOSHUA is a true Man of God , if he was fake he could have not been what He is , more over more important people go there every day , it’s even getting more difficult to get a visa to Nigeria . Please leave the innocent man alone,. You are fighting God if you don’t know.

    • @ Otlaadisa,

We will leave him alone when he owns up of fabricating prophecies and fake deliverances and screens his leaders before they go out on the mission field they are free of imaginary demons that don’t exist. As well stop promoting his own agenda.

Also when he’s going to do something about his prophecies he claims he gets from God in helping the people beforehand and not after the event. Because storms like this will occur whether he likes it or not.

  3. Tb joshua hv’e deceive many wit fake prophesy i still wonder y peple troop 2 scoan.o yee myopic masses take ur bible and read and stop hacking after magic manipulation of son of doom..

  4. T B Joshua is a liar and a sakawa false prophet who would stop at nothing to “project” his name, but his mountain of lies, deception, fabrication and manipulation would come crashing down in a moment. Pray for those who are caught in this web of deception called SCOAN, that they may see the light and come out of the synagogue of Satan.

  5. Weather you like it or not the prophecy is clearly about the typhoon that hit the Philippines. It was a large storm in an Asian country which CNN gave a new name that carried a lot of houses and people. Even the mention of the letters “IN” (which T.B. Joshua never declared as the beginning letters of the involved country) are contained in the PhilippINes.

      • @tjoshuawatch
And why do you think God is not able to give 2 or more even similar prophecies for different nations in one vision ?Cant He do it?
There is nothing here to confirm that TB Joshua is false prophet.
Many times in the bible, the prophets would prophesy same destructions or disaster that will occur in difference nations.
For example In Jeremiah 25,we can read a same prophecy addressed to many nations even the exact time that would happen were never mentioned
Jeremiah 25:32″ This is what the LORD Almighty says: “Look! Disaster is spreading from nation to nation; a mighty storm is rising from the ends of the earth”
Would you say that Jeremiah was also a false prophet because he was giving one prophecy for many nations at once, even never mentioned the exact times it will occur?
In allot of prophecies in the bible, when it comes to give exact time, God would not give exact time:day, month and year.
For God a day can be a thousand years, and a thousand years can be a day.God is not ruled by times when He is the Creator of times.
Even the end of the world or times is already prophesied to be near but it is never near in our physical world.
Prophecies and visions are not easy to give as you seem to believe, many times God does not work, speak or see things in the way people want or wish Him to work, speak or see things. There is nothing to accuse TB Joshua that he does not do this or that as if he is god himself to change a bad situation. How many times we read in the bible people would die in wars, destructions and disaster when there were even more prophets than today?what happened with Noah?what happened in Sodom and Gomorrah, what happened in the book of numbers, joshua, samuel, kings, chronicles?thousands and thousands people died there when there was great prophets of God.

      • And For the failed prophecy about Boko Haram,i suggest you read this, you will find that there are also many failed biblical prophesies in the bible http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Failed_biblical_prophecies
For example Ezekiel in 28:24-26,he predicted that Israel will live in peace with its neighbors:
“No longer will the people of Israel have malicious neighbors who are painful briers and sharp thorns. Then they will know that I am the Sovereign LORD. This is what the Sovereign LORD says: When I gather the people of Israel from the nations where they have been scattered, I will show myself holy among them in the sight of the nations. Then they will live in their own land, which I gave to my servant Jacob. They will live there in safety and will build houses and plant vineyards; they will live in safety when I inflict punishment on all their neighbors who maligned them. Then they will know that I am the LORD their God.”
” A consistent aspect of history is that Israel has never gotten along with its neighbors. (Or, if you prefer, that its neighbors have never gotten along with it.) There’s still hope that Israel and the neighbourhood will be peaceful one day, but it requires everyone in the region to stop “inflicting punishment” on each other”
        Triumph of Judah
In Isaiah 7:1-7 God tells the king of Judah that he shall not be harmed by his enemies.
“And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it. And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind. Then said the LORD unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shearjashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller’s field; And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah. Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying, Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal: Thus saith the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass”
But it did come to pass. His enemies did harm him.
“Wherefore the LORD his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria; and they smote him, and carried away a great multitude of them captives, and brought them to Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who smote him with a great slaughter. For Pekah the son of Remaliah slew in Judah an hundred and twenty thousand in one day, which were all valiant men; because they had forsaken the LORD God of their fathers.”
So was Ezekiel,Esaiah too false prophets? The site above gave examples of failed, unfulfilled even vague prophecies but the bible does not say those prophets were false, why should be TB Joshua then.

      • Hi childofGod

It is true that God can give one prophecy for many nations, like in that scripture you quoted (Jeremiah 25:32).

Jeremiah 25:32 “…from NATION to NATION……from the COASTS of the earth.”
and also Matthew 24:7 “…and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in DIVERS PLACES.”

Notice how it is “NATION to NATION”, “COASTS”, “DIVERS PLACES”. Here yes it does mean more than one place.
However with TB Joshua’s prophecy in question we are told without ambiguity that this disaster involves one country. These are the words from the video:
“…an Asian country starting with the letters IN.”
“In confirmation…a very serious flood occurred in Asian country Indonesia….”
“This will happen in an Asian country.”
“I want to trace the country.”
        “it will disturb this city”
“I am seeing a country, IN”
“Pray for the Nation, this Nation that will face this storm that will take part of the city”
“so the Lord should rescue this country”

There is nothing in this prophecy that suggests that this said storm will happen in more than one country. Notice how it is “AN ASIAN COUNTRY”, “A COUNTRY”, “THE NATION”, “THIS NATION”, “THIS CITY”, “THE CITY”, It is clear, unambiguous & unequivocal that this is ONE EVENT in ONE COUNTRY. Therefore your argument breaks down right there.

Furthermore, why edit out “…the country, IN”? The reason is simple. Emmanuel TV had already said 11 months ago [in January 2013] that the country of concern involved in the prophecy, starting with the letters IN, was Indonesia. Therefore your argument that this prophecy does include the typhoon in the Phillipines is fallacious, ludicrous & mischievous at best.

      • Absolutely General.

@ChildOfGod, I’m glad you’re starting to interact with the issues. The incorrectness of the prophecy is not our biggest problem, it’s the deception. He takes prophecies that were clearly wrong, and edits and presents them as if they were right. How can he use a prophecy that implied a flood would happen within days “soon, very soon”, “the rain is already warming up”, “I will not even want to wait until next Sunday”, then edit these bits out or obscure the original date so that he can use it for something happening 17 months later? How do you justify that?

Secondly, please explain what the point was of the original prophecy? He advised the people in this unnamed city/nation in Asia to start packing up their belongings so they were safe when the flood came. What pointless advice when he doesn’t know where it will happen. Even more pointless when the event he claims he was predicting is 17 months off.

      • Hi,General,
Yes,you are right but TB Joshua said it was a vision he saw,not an direct audible voice from God Himself like this one from Ezekiel which was a voice from God himself.
In the vision, the prophets have to interpret the prophecies in their own words.
TB Joshua said he is seeing a country IN,but he never said God said a country IN,or the country starts with IN or it has IN in the middle.Note it is a vision not a direct voice from God.So if the prophecy was concerning the 2 nations, they edit the details for each country, even if it would concerning one country only and it was mistaken for another, still it is a vision from God.Do you think people criticizing him would be better to interpret visions more than him?If they can let God use them and see how.
How about John Baptist who was greater than every born from women, but was not very sure if Jesus was the true promise Saviour of the World, was he too a false prophet?how much it can be so hard, unsure, unclear to interpret visions?Or How many prophecies even more hard to understand can we read in the bible.

      • @tjoshuawatch
Yes i started to interact with the issues and will not waste my time again with pointless post with insults from those who talks foolishly and never answer any simply question that is asked very clear than repeating the same thing.

Tbjoshuawatch, many prophecies we read in bible, were a direct warning to the people as we see.
what can you say in the above prophecy from Jeremiah who warned directly the nations against a mighty storm without giving exact time?Who knows what the people did or thought with such a prophecy?Do you call him a false prophet too?I would wish to know your view too.And i will further answer other question later.Thank you.

      • Who’s been insulting you?

As for timing, if you say that an event you are predicting is already warming up and is just about to happen, and it doesn’t happen for 17 months, that is a false prediction.

Note it is a vision not a direct voice from God.

What about the Indonesian plane crash that he claimed he saw “as clear as watching Emmanuel TV”, yet he saw it sinking into the sea, when it really crashed into a mountain?

I don’t have problems with vague prophecies, as long as they serve a purpose and people don’t claim them to be more than they actually are. What I have a problem with is a so called minister of Christianity promoting his prophecies as if they are accurate, but having to heavily edit out innacuracies first.

You still haven’t answered the most important question here. In the original prophecy he advised people to pack up their belongings and be ready to leave. However, he did not say where it would be “except that he sees the letters IN”, and he didn’t say when it would be except “very soon”, yet it took 17 months. Please, before continuing this conversation any longer, explain to us what the purpose of this “prophecy” was. Otherwise I fear we might be wasting our time.

      • @ All,

Why does the name of the country spelled with a few letter. Scenario. Here are first order prophets Jeremiah, Isaiah, Hosea, Habakuk prophesying in saying half the information of the prophecy. The people of Israel start to think, ummm Is it Jordan ? Is it Egypt ? Is it Lebanon ? Uuuuh Syria ? Which is it applicable to ? It’s not for us is it, elbowing each other and then going back to sleep or work.

What is the point of “prophesying” and nothing has changed and millions have lost their lives ? Is it not clear that it is scam prophesying on the predictable weather. If one sees a pattern taking place in a certain area and it is year after year happening, how easy it is to see disaster taking place 1-2 years from now.

        http://world.time.com/2013/11/11/the-philippines-is-the-most-storm-exposed-country-on-earth/

Oh well. TBJ is really the best “prophet” unmatched. Never mind what the news is really telling us.

      • @tbjoshuawatch
No,i m not saying you insulting but was referring to the useless conversation i was in,in the previous article with some commenters.
Let us continue.Yes i answered by saying it was a vision not an audible voice. In the vision the storm was warming up and just about to happen so he stated it as he saw it.For him it was close because the way God showed him the vision. It may be near for God but in our physical world,it can sometimes take years to see the fulfilment of prophecy. How about Israel who were expecting to live in peace when God promised so?

How many examples from the site i gave you we see prophecies that are not the way they foresee them? This is the same as the indonesia plane. An example from the site i gave you.
“Jesus was said to be a Nazarene but In the Bible, Jesus is born in Bethlehem but grows up in Nazareth. Matthew credits the Nazareth upbringing as a fullfilment of prophecy:
Matt. 2:23 And [Mary, Joseph, and Jesus] came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophets, that he should be called a Nazarene.
Unlike most of the other “prophecies” in this category, we can’t even tell which Old Testament passage, if any, Matthew is twisting to fit the story; no OT prophecy seems relevant. It’s almost as if he’s just flat-out declaring that this was prophecied and hoping no one calls his bluff. Of course, even this one is’t too big a stone for apologists to swallow. As web page dedicated to this particular problem puts it: “First, it is necessary to point out that a genuine textual problem only exists if one has exhausted every possibility of interpretation, and there simply is no reasonable explanation that resolves the difficulty.”
The most popular Christian explanation is that “Nazarene” is a figurative expression for anyone who is despised or rejected, as Jesus is at various points in the New Testament and the Messiah at various points in the old. Not only is that a heck of a cop-out, but if it’s Matthew’s intention, then it makes little sense for him to say that Jesus moving to a literal Nazareth is a fulfilment of the “figurative Nazarene” prophecy. A likelier possibility, and one which makes the author of Matthew look less dishonest and/or stupid, is that “the prophets” doesn’t mean the Old Testament authors, but some other person or group of people, or an oral tradition. Of course, in that instance the case for a “fulfilled prophecy” is left empty-handed (and it’s a catch-all excuse for similar failures).”

So is apoltle Matthiew false then?Cant you see that many prophecies are very hard to understand hence many people would critisize the prophets of the bible.
Nor in Jeremiah we see him making it clear of when it will take place, than just telling them the nations :”Behold,a disaster is going forth from nation to nation, and a great tempest is stirring from the farthest parts of the earth” what can you say to those people hearing such prophecy?you never answered either .And what was the purpose of such prophecy too?why not TB Joshua’s prophecies would have the same purpose of those many unsure, vague,or failed prophecies we see in the bible too.Why would you not start questioning all those understandable prophecies in the bible, why are even there, may be you will find answer.

I Would wish to know if you would call false also those prophets who gave the failed biblical prophecy in the site i gave above?you never answered either.

      • Hi childofGod

You said: “…but TB Joshua said it was a vision he saw,not an direct audible voice from God Himself like this one from Ezekiel which was a voice from God himself. In the vision, the prophets have to interpret the prophecies in their own words.”
“Note it is a vision not a direct voice from God.”

I am not sure why you are trying to prove that a vision does not have a voice from God. You are implying that a vision is different & it never has a direct voice from God, this is another misconception you are displaying. See these instances where a vision has a direct voice from God.

Genesis 15:1 “…the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying…”
Psalms 89:19 “Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst…”
Obadiah 1:1 “The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom;”
Numbers 12:6 “…I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.”

Emmanuel TV does not differentiate between vision or dream or audible voice from God. It just says “God is still saying something”, “Prophecy! Prophecy! Prophecy!”, “…prophetic message..”, “…Prophet TB Joshua prophesied…”, all of this boils down to mean it is a message from God, it is “Thus saith the Lord”

You said: “So if the prophecy was concerning the 2 nations, they edit the details for each country, even if it would concerning one country only and it was mistaken for another, still it is a vision from God.”

One thing that is clear though and which you have not been able to debunk is the fact that the prophecy was about one country. You haven’t proven that two countries can be accommodated in that prophecy. You would have to concede that one of them was not foreseen at all and the question is which one? Remember that TB Joshua says “we don’t suggest; we talk with power”. So whose power was it with which he talked about one these disasters? If Emmanuel TV/SCOAN/TBJ made a mistake here it wouldn’t be the first of this kind then, agree? Then I am sorry they are not reliable. You must realise that spin-doctoring like this out of sticky situations like these is what sustains cults, like Jehovah’s Witnesses, SDA, LDS church, etc.

Regarding John the Baptist, there is no Biblical basis to suspect him to be a false prophet and you are also not being rational here to suggest that if we don’t regard him as a false prophet then we shouldn’t regard TBJ as a false prophet either. John acknowledged that it is Christ who takes away sin of the world. TBJ on the other hand said “My mission is to set people free from sin”. TBJ allows people to sayhe is God in the flesh and he is seated at the right hand of God [he does not rebuke all this]. Can we say these things about John the Baptist? No! Now I would ask you, in light of these is rational to say if we regard TBJ as a false prophet then we should regard John as such as well? The answer is NO! So I think it is silly to even make that suggestion.

      • correction:Why would you not start questioning all those [misunderstandable]prophecies in the bible, why are even there, may be you will find answer.

      • Well, why would not just God to prophets Jeremiah, Isaiah, Hosea, Habakuk all details in their prophecies with date, time, year so as there will not even questioning when it will happen. Why God could not just simply give to ancient prophets the names of those who will come as false prophets so as people will not waste their time fighting, arguing this one is false,no this one true.
Why God does not speaks the whole thing so as people would know all the truth without struggleling.Do you thing God was not able to do that.
Why all those unfulfilled, vague and very hard to understand?why God would not just make it easy to interprete by giving all details?’

And what about all the humanity who died after Noah prophesied what will happen going to happen, then what was the use of his prophecy when God knew noone will listen to him.

      • childofGod

Here is the problem you have, you keep pointing to the prophets, suggesting that we should also regard them as TB Joshua. Well if you think that’s how it works then let’s consider a few points:

        1. The prophets wrote concerning Christ the Messiah:
John 1:45 “…We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth…”
Luke 24:27 “And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.”
Luke 24:44 “…all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.”
        .
        2. Jesus said He came to fulfill what was written by the prophets (Matthew 5:17). This means what the prophets wrote is far more important than TBJ’s prophecies so it is theologically irrational & somewhat satanic to suggest that if we say TBJ is a false prophet then we must also say Moses & the prophets are false. This does not make Christian sense.

        3. Moses & the prophets were inspired by God. We know and believe this wholeheartedly that’s why we don’t question them. So you cannot elevate TBJ’s prophecies to the same level as that of Moses & the prophets to such an extent that you do.

        4. Moses & the prophets did not engage in predicting football games.

        5. Moses & the prophets were never called God in the flesh, never said to be seated at the right hand of God [which is Christ’s place].

It is clear that we cannot compare Moses & the prophets to TB Joshua as you explicitly do. The grand fallacy that I am picking up from your comments is that you make it sound like we regard TBJ as a false prophet solely because of the prophecy in question here only. This is not so. I for one was skeptical in the past but did not yet then label TBJ a false prophet. It was a gradual process slowly learning more & more about unsettling aspects of his ministry, things we cannot say about Moses & the prophets and the apostles. You must keep in mind that we live in the age of spiritual deception where we are told repeatedly to be careful.
Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets…”
Matthew 24:4 “…Take heed that no man deceive you.”
Matthew 24:11 “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.”
Matthew 24:24 “…..false prophets…..if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

There is a need to be careful in these times childofGod.

      • @General
when you brings things like TB Joshua said this or that, better you bring evidence him saying so.Not what people said about him.People have said allot about him. What will count is only what comes out of TB Joshua’s own mouth. And bring evidence please where TB Joshua does not acknowledge Jesus as the Saviour.

      • childofGod

You are familiar with WatchTBJoshua right? and I gather that you trust their articles yes?
Well ask them for the following article:

        TB Joshua, the Reigning Messiah
Posted by watchtbjoshua on October 9, 2012 in Who is TB Joshua?

You may also want to read this interview here: http://www.elifeonline.net/elife2-sep-oct/reflx-tb-okotie.htm

Note that yes TBJ may say Jesus is the savior & healer but then at the same time say things like “My mission is to set people free from sin”. These are things that people ignore. He does say Jesus is the healer & all that but then turn around and allow to be called God on his own TV channel without strongly rebuking this.

    • The phillipines had to overcome 20 thyfoons in short time. The seizon of the thyfoons is a well-known event. There is nothing miraculous to “profhesy”a hard storm, when the authorities already had warned for evacuations a long time ago. A real profhesy is given by God, so people can be prepared and warned at fore-hand. It is extreemly un-godly to “see such a disaster in vision”, and not to warn the governement. and still sending the profhesy out as a self-promoting issue. TB Joshua did not organized a resque-action, nor did he after the storm. He advizes people to donate to the philipinian ambassades, without having a proper helping-plan by himself. He only uses the terrible event for his own glory. Love your neighbor as your-self-deceivement.

      • @tbjoshuawatch
Would wish to know if you would call false those prophets who gave the failed biblical prophecy in the site i gave above.

      • I’m so sure ur blind pastors don’t see visions, that is if you even go to church at all, that’s why you are this confused. Go get a life and leave judgment for God. We are all too small to help God.

      • @General
If you accuse someone and never give evidence of what you are accusing him/her,it is easy to acknowledge who is pretending to be what he/she is not.
To be challenged and find yourself wrong it is not a crime, better to stay self control than keeping throwing nonsense post whether you are happy or not.

    • @General
“Emmanuel TV does not differentiate between vision or dream or audible voice from God. It just says “God is still saying something”, “Prophecy! Prophecy! Prophecy!”,
Just a simple example, here we all use our screen to communicate. Its by sight not by our audible voice. But we always use words like this when we are quoting someone’s messages or posts(you said, you are saying,he/she said, says…)as if it was an audible voice .
A prophecy whether it is a vision,an audible voice,or dream, they are all messages from God.And emmanuel.tv using “God still saying something”There is no fault there unless you make it so.
But here an example from your own post ,you, writting:(@childofGod,you said:..)when you never heard my audible voice.

Here i m seeing again what i have already answered using examples from bible though you seem not happy that i gave same failed, unsure,or vague prophecies from the bible that may give credit to TB Joshua’s prophecies too,so i cant keep saying the same thing.
Even if You never agree with me but the evidence its there in the bible.

To finish, other things you brought about TB Joshua that(he said this and that)when its not even related to prophecies but using them just to avoid answering even one single question i have asked concerning the failed, unsure prophecies from the site i gave above,i will not answered anything either, its just to waste time.
And Why would you want me to admit what you want, when you never admit anything i said than just keeping avoiding the evidence i gave.
If we continue like this, this debate may take days and days but we will never agreed in anything.Better everyone keep his own opinions and end this argument.

      • childofGod

I though I addressed your argument but I see you didn’t quiet get my point. Allow me to give you this [“unrelated”] example. Let’s suppose a guy like Criss Angel walking on water, and tell us it is the power of God and then use scripture to defend himself (Matthew 14:25-29, John 14:12, John 3:2). It would be easy for his followers to use your argument to say if we reject him then we must reject Jesus also. It could very well be said that the same act of walking on water from the Bible may give credit to his act too. Using your criteria then we would have to accept it is the power of God or reject him & Jesus. This is of-course absurd. In order to arrive at any conclusion we would have to look deep, hard & long at the bigger [other issues]. So we would have to compare and look at other things like this one “believes that”, “teaches this & that”, “does this & that” & “says this & that”. So if someone asks why would we accept Jesus but reject Criss even though their acts are the same, in response we would have to elaborate on the grounds for our stance. So bringing things like this one “believes that”, “teaches this & that”, “does this & that” & “says this & that” is not at all bringing things that are not even related to the issue to avoid answering the question. This is not a question that can be answered by a simple yes or no. It needs a reasonable explanation.

The same principle applies with your question. I said all those things [not to avoid your question but] to substantiate “…why we don’t question them” [the prophets you mentioned] but still remain skeptical of TB Joshua. It is only when you look at the bigger picture [“believes that”, “teaches this & that”, “does this & that”, “says this & that”] that the contrast will be uncovered and you will understand the answer. I think it is unfortunate that you feel that this bigger picture is not related to the issue. On that note I agree with you, it’s probably best to end it. Agree to disagree.

      • @General
Yes,that is why the bible says we may know them by they fruits. And if TB Joshua’s fruits are those foolish things that his haters lie about him:
he raped me,he sleep with my wife,he abuse, beat, torture people with blood all over,he destroys,he has children outside,he pregnant me,he uses satanic power,he does not believe in Jesus,or call Jesus,he is a muslum,Really? All these foolish things with no concrete facts or evidence,
do you want people to believe this?Right?Only people who have something hidden against him can believe foolish things like this because of course they wish him to fall.
So if you want a debate on this foolish things ,i will not waste my time because i dont believe in anything like this.Hence its better we stop.

    • @General
First know i am a simple commenter like everyone.I am not familiar with anyone and i dont know anyone here or in watchtbjoshua site.
If you find that i supported their article on “TB Joshua, the Reigning Messiah”,then quote my post here and accuse me.Right?
And of course TB Joshua always rebuke by saying he is just a servant of God or God can use anyone He wants or he is not the healer but
Jesus. He always said so direct but people have always talk foolishly about him.
Many times testimonies are even given when TB Joshua is not on stage. But when he is there and someone giving testimony want to praise him,he always rebuke them and tell them to give thanks to God.

“My mission is to set people free from sin” or i am commissioned to…
Let me give you an example:you want to buy cars somewhere but you cant go personally there. So you find somebody to give that mission
And when people asked him what is his mission,he will say:I have mission to buy cars,or i m commissioned to…though the money to buy those cars are not from him but from the sender. So here the cars will belong to the sender not to the one been sent to buy them.
So the power to save,to heal,to deliver is from God,not from TB Joshua but God needs someone to send to save his people.

I have said my opinions, you have yours,i cant convince you ,you cant convince me.That’s all.So i must stop here cause we can never agreed in anything.

      • childofGod

Here you missed my point badly. I didn’t say you supported the article I referenced. I just said ask for it from them. You can do this via email or comment. I thought since you recommended the other day here that someone must go read a certain article there, I figured you think we can learn something from there. So on the surface it looked as though you don’t have a problem with their content so that’s why I referred you to that article, to show you that I did not make up that statement.

About the “buying cars” analogy. It would not seem strange for anyone to claim to be buying cars whether for themselves or for someone else. This is a human activity. people buy cars everyday. Even the one commissioned to do that, it is humanly possible for him to buy a car with his own money & present it as a gift to his boss. Even the seller wouldn’t find it strange if this buyer is buying for himself or someone else, because he is just as capable as anybody. Therefore this analogy is not foolproof
This is different when it comes to man & sin this is God’s business. Only he can deal with this. Unlike the car buyer, one can’t free another person from sin and give to them God as a gift. The gospel minister only prays for the person and it is only God who deals with the person’s sin. Some sins are private and the minister may never know about them. Look at Jesus for example, when he dealt with sins of the people [Mark 2:5-7, Luke 7:48-49] they said he was blaspheming because he claimed to be doing something only God can do, of-course they didn’t realise that He was God in the flesh, so yes Jesus can say & do that.

        So:
“My mission is to buy cars” – there’s nothing wrong if any human being says this.
“My mission is to set people free from sin” – just as much as it sounded blasphemous in Jesus’ time [on earth], it still is blasphemous if anyone says it today.

It does indeed look as though we won’t agree here, so agreed we’ll stop here. Thanks for engaging well in these issues.

      • @General
What i support is that TB Joshua is a true prophet but he is not Jesus and some commenters told them so,and i dont think i can do something about that though i support their other articles.
You did not get my point too,the problem is, you paid much attention to the words “to buy cars” when the main focus could have been only on the word “mission”or “commissioned” that is used both in my example and TB Joshua’s statement.
The one who gives a mission is the one with the power to rescue but He needs people to use ,If they could further ask TB Joshua how will you do the mission,he would have not certainly say by my power or in my name but in the power of Jesus or in the name of Jesus,And it is how he always say when he praying for people
Luke 9:1-2 When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, 2 and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

Is this not Jesus himself sending the apostles by giving them power and authority to cast out demons and to heal diseases and tell everyone about the kingdom of God ?Is this not a mission they got from God to heal ,to cast out demons and tell people about God?This is what TB Joshua meant but what he may do or say,it will always be false for those who are against him.

      • @childofGod a question you’ve continually dodged is what the point was in TB Joshua’s flood prophecy? It didn’t give a time or location except for “soon” and Asia, the former being wrong (17 months) and the latter being a whole continent. This doesn’t give enough detail for people to practically prepare, or pray. If he had said that on November the 7th 2013 a typhoon would ravage Tacloban city in the Philippines, then people might sit up and take him seriously. In reality, the prophecy was nothing more than a sick joke.

Assuming you disagree, please explain what the point was of this prophecy? Think very carefully before you give an answer like “he’s only saying what God showed him”, because then you’re just shifting the blame to God. Why would God give a useless prophecy like this? I believe God takes prophecy a little more seriously than this. Personally, I think that TB Joshua just says random and vague things off the top of his head and lets his video editors patch something together to vaguely fit a world event.

      • childofGod
If only it was that simple then we wouldn’t have these countless warnings from scripture, but I see you clearly don’t know how far this plot thickens.

      • @tjoshuawatch
If you would have taken care to read all examples of kind of prophecies like TB Joshua’s i gave you,and even take care yourself to answer my questions i asked ,you would have find what you are asking me again.

      • I read all your comments, none of them attempt to explain what the point was in the Philippines prophecy, they just try to justify it in its mediocrity. The conclusion I have to come to is that you agree the prophecy was pointless/wrong/vague (delete as appropriate), but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t from God. Please correct me if I’m wrong. For the record, I disagree that any prophecies recorded in the bible were false, some are yet to be fulfilled, but that doesn’t make them false. The Philippines prophecy in question was flat out wrong, it was meant to happen in a matter of days, instead it took 17 months.

      • @tbjoshuawatch
If Noah’s prophecy of the flood that killed all those living was pointless, then TB Joshua’s might be too.

      • “If Noah’s prophecy of the flood that killed all those living was pointless, then TB Joshua’s might be too.”

        Far beyond Ridiculous!

      • So you think Noah just kept it by himself for 120 years? All people seeing him building an ark and never asked him what was for?
Neither we dont see where God told Noah to keep it by himself and never say anything to the people who may ask.
And what about Sodom and Gomorah.

      • Re: Noah, it’s better to stick to what the scriptures say rather than speculating. Re: Sodom and Gomorah, this case actually very nicely supports what we’re saying. This prophecy was directed to a specific person in a specific city, warning them of something that was just about to take place, and it did. The Philippines prophecy was specific only in time (incorrect), but wasn’t targeted at any specific people, hence why we call it useless.

      • “Yes, far beyond ridiculous to those pretending to warn people but doing so for selfish purpose.”

No, actually to those who have common Christian sense.

      • @tjoshuawatch
I m not here to waste my time in a useless arguement with some commenters who are not happy.
But it was a pleasure to discuss with you.Now i am out because we are not going anywhere.

      • @tbjoshuawatch

It is clear that childofGod is a heretic. He/she denies the virgin birth of Christ so it’s no surprise that he/she will not acknowledge the absurdity of this prophecy in question by TB Joshua.

      • Hi childofGod

        RE:

        childofGod says:
        November 16, 2013 at 4:14 pm
        @General
If you accuse someone and never give evidence of what you are accusing him/her,it is easy to acknowledge who is pretending to be what he/she is not.
To be challenged and find yourself wrong it is not a crime, better to stay self control than keeping throwing nonsense post whether you are happy or not.

        ————————————

I suppose your are referring to my calling you a heretic? Here are the reasons why you are a heretic.

        You said:

“…there are also many failed biblical prophesies in the bible http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Failed_biblical_prophecies
“The site above gave examples of failed, unfulfilled even vague prophecies…”
“How many examples from the site i gave you…”
“.An example from the site i gave you…”
“…prophets who gave the failed biblical prophecy in the site i gave above?”
“Would wish to know if you would call false those prophets who gave the failed biblical prophecy in the site i gave above.”
“…i gave same failed, unsure,or vague prophecies from the bible…”
“If this one is useless jeremiah 25:32 is useless or all these prophecy we read here are useless http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Failed_biblical_prophecies,then let TB Joshua’s be.”

TWICE you gave this link http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Failed_biblical_prophecies
and you strongly uphold it as you quoted it many times as an authoritative source for your defense of TBJ.

It is clear that you thoroughly trust and agree with this content. This is the same content that lists Christ’s virgin birth as another example of of “Unfulfilled prophecies that weren’t”. You have, beyond reasonable doubt, thoroughly endorsed all of this, so YES, you & your friends at wiki are denying the virgin birth of the Savior, which is actually a blasphemy. You are a heretic because you heavily rely & quote secular & heathen heretic literature as authoritative source on Bible prophecy to defend the deception that the Bible warned us about. So on that note yes in fact you are a heretic! This is what I meant and if you think my calling you a heretic for denying the virgin birth is a “nonsense post”, then you ignorance is far deeper than what it seems, then it’s best you forget this TB Joshua controversy.

      • @general HI,I strongly understand what you meant now.And I cant deny you being totally right. But let me explain you why i was surprised to see you calling me heretic. You remember asking me about the article on TB Joshua, the Reigning Messiah published in watchtbjoshua site as a supporter of their web,But I said i believe TB Joshua is a prophet but he is NOT Jesus though I support their other articles. Here the same i believe Jesus was Born of a virgin and i dont have any doubt about it but i had to show the source of my examples in previous posts where they were coming from but the ones i selected were the ones I supported most and paid too much attention on,then i quoted them to support my ideas. Let’s suppose I did not give that site above and just quote the examples i was giving from a bible, may be you would have not suspected me as being heretic when you did not have any support. Here my aim is to show that we may support few or more ideas from people but not supporting all their ideas or their personalities. Let me give you a little example: on November 14, 2013 at 9:11 am tbjoshuawatch said: “I don’t know if Philippine embassies are equipped to take funds as TB Joshua suggested, but I was pleased to hear that he wasn’t asking to give via him” We know all that tbjoshuawatch does not support TB Joshua’ministry but he/she may once be pleased of one of TB Joshua idea.. May be i cant convince you enough but believe me,I totally believe in Christ’ virgin Birth with no doubt about that.Hope you will understand me.”

      • childofGod

It’s funny that now you say I’m right when you were starting insinuating that I’m “…pretending to be what he/she is not”, might be losing “…self control…” and “…throwing nonsense post…”

You said: “…the ones i selected were the ones I supported most…”

You are supporting the agenda of Bible scoffers! That whole article scoffs at God’s inspired word and as a child of God that you say you are you have no excuse to refer to such malicious scoffing at least 8 times. Don’t you think people [who don’t know better and are looking for the truth] reading your comments will go away believing the content of that site you referenced at least 8 times? Do you think they will come away believing that the Bible is reliable? Now isn’t that destroying the faith of young Christians who still need milk? All just to justify the absurdity of TBJ’s prophecy under scrutiny here? Really?

By the way you said ALL those prophecies we read there, let me show you:

Quote: “…all these prophecy we read here are useless http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Failed_biblical_prophecies,then let TB Joshua’s be.”

You sound even more ridiculous because you claim you believe the virgin birth prophecy was fulfilled but then you agree with wiki regarding others yet they present you with the same ludicrous arguments. Unfortunately for you Christianity does not work like that, it is the cults that believe selectively and you are tuning yourself to cult settings. You are claiming that they are wrong about the virgin birth but they are right about others? So you would have to agree with them that Jesus’ piercing is another “unfulfilled prophecy” as they claim. If you don’t see any ridiculousness here with this logic no wonder you don’t see the absurdity with TBJ’s prophecy in question here as you have failed to answer tbjoshuawatch’s question, hence I suggested to you that it’s best for you to forget this TBJ controversy. As far as Bible prophecy is concerned it is better for a Christian to learn from Bible Prophecy Scholars/professors/teachers/experts instead of referring 8 times to some scoffing article by wiki to emphasize doctrine.

You said: “Hope you will understand me”

I’m not sure you understand yourself childofGod.

Anyway just try to answer tbjoshuawatch’s question, they answered you regarding Noah and Sodom & Gomorah, so it’s only fair for yo to do the same.

      • @General
If you say I sound ridiculous to refer to the site I gave as examples to support my ideas, you too you sound more ridiculous to abuse TB Joshua to be false because he stated that his mission is to set free people when its Jesus himself who gave to his apostles that mission.
So you might have too to admit your absurdity as you want me to admit it, right? So let’s see a Christian who still need milk and come across to this site, and read your posts, don’t you think he/she mighty see TB Joshua as a blasphemer and start to abuse him too, regarding to what you said? You never admitted to make a mistake but you always want me to admit mine.
What I say, I m not recommending anyone to refer to the site from wiki…as bible teacher cause it is not.
I found it only when I was looking about unfulfilled prophecies or vague prophecies and to refer to the whole prophecies as unfulfilled it was a mistake I made as I don’t agree with all ideas from that site, that is why I m saying again look only to the ones I quoted. You too you made mistake by referring to what TB Joshua said in the interview to accuse him falsely. So before you jump up again (this is more ridiculous, this is beyond ridiculous),let me tell you I will not waste again my time in this issue because you want to make me to say what you want when it is how I see it.
The problem you have most, you never even want to admit your own fault ,but every time you want too make mine so big when yours are even bigger for those who don’t believe your allegations against a prophet of God.
And I give examples of prophets of God to support my ideas on your allegations against prophet TB Joshua,it is as if the whole world is crumbling (this silly to even compare this one to this, this is ridiculous this beyond ridiculous to do this and this)Do you know that prophets of bible were human beings too not God.And where do we read in bible that there will be no more prophets after the bible? Are there any prophet of today you believe is the true one at least.
The people you are warning against false prophets, would be happy to know who are the true ones then, since you are the ones to know distinguish the false ones to the true ones.Who are then the true ones?

And I may add this too ,I m not a friend or familiar with anyone behind any site I visit on internet. Only I visit sites to read news or ideas of people. If you are friend and familiar of people behind any site you visit, me I m not.
So take my explanation like it is,whether you dont not agree or not I will not comeback to the issue of the site, lets forget the site as I said before, lets suppose i never give the site but the examples I gave to support my ideas, I m referring to them now from a bible. So If you will have the whole time to got back to what we said before ,as me I cant go back to repeat my self over and over again.
You never answered the example I gave to explain the Boko haram prophecy, you never answered the one in Jeremiah 25:32 even this one is not from the wiki…site, I did get it directly from the bible, you never I answered any example of prophecy I quoted here, then you want me to answer what is suitable to you. This is just to waste time and we have all wasted enough time for now.

I want only to conclude by saying this, you have a right to say or believe whatever you want about me, about TB Joshua or anyone but what count most is what Jesus says or knows about me,about TB Joshua or everyone, also what is most important is that Jesus is the JUDGE of all judges and what is amazing above all He will be the only One to condemn on the day of judgement.

      • @General
Correction: -And [ when ] I give examples of prophets of God to support my ideas on your allegations against prophet TB Joshua,it is….
-because you want to make me to say what you want when it is [ not ] how I see it.

      • childofGod

The truth is there are blasphemies & idolatry that TBJ has allowed in his own TV channel & on his own official blog and some of these have been thoroughly covered in this blog and the evidence is there if you care to even check it out and no amount of denial by your under-informed posts will make it go away. So I’m not going to waste my time on you regarding this.

You said: “…you never answered the one in Jeremiah 25:32 even this one is not from the wiki…site…”

It’s either you are very ignorant or just plain LIAR! See here: https://tbjoshuawatch.wordpress.com/2013/11/12/tb-joshua-exploits-the-philippine-tragedy-for-his-own-gain/#comment-12136

On that note, you have dodged [tbjoshuawatch’s] questions and you will be remembered as such, exactly like the rest of TB Joshua followers/worshipers/defenders/supporters before you.

      • @General
If there are people who will be remembered as LIARS here, is you and other supporters of your absurdity you accused a prophet of God falsely though i showed you facts of your false accusation you keep looking there and there to find something else you may use again when your first falsehood you were lied on to accuse a man of God has been exposed.
Dont bring people said this or this, bring where TB Joshua said so.Only Ignorant people like you have called him many names but himself in his television you basing on,he said himself who he is, he called himself a servant of God and nothing else.
So the ignorant people should take what he says and call himself and stop twisting what he never said for selfish purpose.

You said “LIARS”? well who will be more liars than those who support people who lies foolishly against a man God like this(he raped me,he sleep with my wife,he abuse, beat, torture people with blood all over,he destroys,he has children outside,he pregnant me,he uses satanic power,he does not believe in Jesus,or call Jesus,he is a muslum) without any evidence whatsoever. You are liars and you should be ashamed of yourselfs.
You said you answered Jeremiah…prophecy? No,you didnt because you twisted my question and answered it the way i did not asked.Me too I answered all your questions in my way. That is it.
And what about the other prophecies i quoted?you dodged them too and you keep accusing me.Before you call others names better to start with yourselves.

      • @General
Who can dodge questions more than you do?tell me.
“The people you are warning against false prophets, would be happy to know who are the true ones then, since you are the ones to know & distinguish the false ones to the true ones.Who are then the true ones?”

This question was dodged too because the answer may put some to shame for claiming to warn people of false prophets when its just for selfish purpose.

      • “So the power to save,to heal,to deliver is from God,not from TB Joshua but God needs someone to send to save his people.”
And that someone is Jesus Christ, the perfect sacrifice, who paid for our sins once and for ever, so that who ever believes in Him shall be saved.
Do you now realize that you are at best putting someone else on the Saviour’s spot, or even worse, killing him again?

      • @Christian
Do you know that Jesus Christ is God?where I put God its Jesus himself.Father and Son are One.Stop twisting what I never said.
General was there before you to twist it like you what TB Joshua never meant but the word of Christ himself put him/her to shame.I refer to you to go back and read previous posts careful then you will be back to twist what you have understood very well.

      • ChildofGod, spot on and thumbs up to all you are saying. These people can only deceive those who want to be deceived or have hidden agendas. That is why I left this site to do better things its really a boring site and full of slander and malice.

    • I’m sorry, but you are horribly deluded Crystal Clear.

And if it was “clearly about the Phillipines” why did he use the same prophecy for a disaster in a different country, at a different time? Is the prophet confused too?

    • Zuch,;No, the videos show very clearly, that TB Joshua is a cheat,. What-ever you say; T B Joshua is a false profhet, and not the most smart one. Everything dark, will be brought into the Light! Amen!

  6. jesus christ knew about his death from the beginnig, why did’nt he avert it, it is the wil of god. The typhoo, earthquake, tsunami, hurricane and other’s are biblical (in the book of revelation).god is only showing his prophet to promote the gospel of christ. so if you blasphemers dont believe in tbj and his ministry, why dont you try establishing a ministry, so that you can prophesy on things to come and then averts them.

    • @ Stephen,

So you are saying all these disasters are from God, ummm to wipe out tens of thousands of people ? Really ? Like Hitler, Polpot, Stalin, Mao Tse Toeng are all send by God to wipe millions of the globe, right ? What about Hurricane Katrina, did the stop to do the Mardi Grass after that ? Or Hurricane Sandy, does it stop the Dow Jones and stock exchange to crumble ? Or an earthquake in Los Angeles stop Hollywood to send out blasphemous movies and poke in the eye of God ? Really, so you like your murderous God then and promote Him like this to proclaim the Gospel like a twisted deranged earthly father that threatens his children with stick. If you don’t…. then I will beat the hell out of you until you comply.

What kind of Gospel is that ? You need help, serious help with your twisted blood dripping views. No love in you there, how can it otherwise be, you are being fed and brimming over with nasty stuff because you see an excuse to use Revelation to the destruction of many without reaching God much wanted salvation for each of them if he is a prophet TBJ that is and with you defending him like that. You are skewed, man, seriously skewed.

    • Stephen cross, it must be hard to see “the truth” of your beloved idol tb Joshua, falling in pieces. He is a calculating “wetter-fore-teller”. His prediction is NO profhesy. EVERY church has at this moment resque-activities for the Phillipines, except TB Joshua with more then 500.000 members. You know why? If the Philistines discover that this disaster is profhesied about, because God wanted to resque them, and this profhet did not took any action, except exposing his own glory, then there is a risk that this devasted people will lynch tb Joshua. By the way, I am in resque-operations all day long. It is my calling.

      • To be fair, I’d rather churches supported the country through established charities (e.g. Red Cross or Tear Fund) rather than setting up their own thing. Often in these kind of disasters, lots of separate efforts are actually counterproductive, and an inefficient use of funds. I don’t know if Philippine embassies are equipped to take funds as TB Joshua suggested, but I was pleased to hear that he wasn’t asking to give via him.

      • At the moment, after a week since the Tyfhoon has strucked the Phillipines, the resque-operations are still hamperered. The people are in desperate need for help, and the fully equiped Medical teams,Food-transports,etc. are hindred by the permission of the V.N. Plains can not land, because of the problems on the air-port,. We are week later, and there is hardly given help. People are now dieing because of hunger, wounds and trauma. Women become raped by gangs, and people are treatened by armed gangs. There are millions on donations availeble. And there is still hardly active help going on. This is the world today; they are not able any-more to act adequate and immidiatly, they leave it for God and for organisations., and this organisations hindre each-other and claim the first resque-rights, as the VN. The Philipines are 80 % catholic And God seem to be on Holyday. It can happen to us tomorrow.

  7. Those who say TB joshua is a false prophet needs deliverance, leave the man of God alone focus on your own lives and stop spreading lies about TB joshua

    • Concerning all this we need to adamant of what Jesus says to us as He is saying to the 7 (seven) Churches in Revelation and follow that accordingly. In this way we will be able to discern who is who and who is send by God and who is not and who is the deceiver and who is speaking the Truth.

The Lord’s message to them to these churches is wholly different from the language He gave to Paul for the body of Christ. No hint of the gospel or the doctrines of grace may be found in Jesus’ words to these assemblies. Jesus’ refrain is “he who has an ear, let him hear” and His command is to persevere and endure.

None of this is present in Paul. The warnings Jesus gave the assemblies echo His warnings to the Twelve on the Mount of Olives. In that address, He warned them not to be DECEIVED and to endure to the end (Matthew 24:4, 11, 24, 13). The great temptation that will confront Israel, as well as the world, during the period of time foretold by Revelation, will be to accept a FALSE Messiah.

This will involve the worship of Satan, the beast (Satan’s man, the Antichrist), the Antichrist’s image, and the taking of HIS mark (Revelation 13:4, 8, 15, 16-17). Jesus’ refrain to the seven assemblies is repeated in Revelation 13:9. In Revelation 14:9-11, God’s angel warned of the consequences of submitting to the TEMPTATION.

Revelation 14:12 describes the “patience,” “perseverance,” or “endurance” Jesus described in the Jewish assemblies in Revelation 2:3, 19, 3:10. During this period of time salvation is possible only through endurance (Matthew 24.13). Jesus’ words about salvation during this period are as straightforward as words can be: only by enduring to the end, i.e., the end of one’s life (martyrdom) or until He returns is SALVATION possible and this is certainly not through mortal man that want to stand in footsteps of Jesus as being a False Messiah.

Endurance is only possible if we stay in His Spirit. “1 John 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. and His Revelation “But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.(1 John 2:27 KJV) and not in revelation of mortal man and women.

  8. THE WORD OF GOD (TRUE GOSPEL) SAYS IN:
    Deuteronomy 18:22
22” If what a prophet proclaims in the Name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed”.
THE WORD OF TB JOSHUA (DIFFERENT GOSPEL) SAYS IN:
    Deuteronomy 18:22
22“When God’s servants speak forth, the wise listen”
    2 Corinthians 11:4-15 says:
4 For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a DIFFERENT GOSPEL from the one you accepted, why do you put up with it easily enough? 13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve –
If you preach a different gospel, it will include a different Jesus and a different spirit.
    Be warned!

    • If you preach a DIFFERENT GOSPEL, like TB Joshua, it will be because it is inspired by a different spirit. So if TB Joshua was inspired by the spirit of the God of the Bible and the true Jesus Christ His son, who died on the cross of Calvary, shedding His blood to wash repented sinner whiter than snow and who rose from the dead. Interceding as our advocate at the right hand of God.
His message to all of the people in these disaster areas would have been:
REPENT AND TURN FROM YOUR WICKED WAYS. EXEPT JESUS CHRIST AS THE SON OF GOD WHO DIED ON THE CROSS AND CALL OUT TO HIM FOR MERCY IN THE LIGHT OF HIS COMING JUDGMENT!
      2 Chronicles 7:14
14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
      Acts 2:38
And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
      Romans 6:23 ESV / 24 helpful votes
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
      1 John 1:9 ESV / 59 helpful votes
If we confess our sins, He, Jesus is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

      BUT
Because TB Joshua is operating through a DIFFERENT SPIRIT he can only rely on vague divination dreams, given to him by a different spirit. That spirit cannot tell people what to do to be saved through Jesus.

      • Al the Prophets of God, called the people to repentance.
Here is just a few examples:
        PROPHET EZEKIEL SAID:
21 “But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die.
        PROPHET ISAIAH SAID:
        Isaiah 30:15
15 This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says:
“In repentance and rest is your salvation,
in quietness and trust is your strength,
but you would have none of it.
        PROPHET JEREMIAH SAID:
        Jeremiah 4
        A Call to Repentance
4 The LORD says, “People of Israel, if you want to turn, then turn back to me. If you are faithful to me and remove the idols I hate, 2 it will be right for you to swear by my name.
        PROPHET SAMUEL SAID:
1 Samuel 7:3 – Then Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying, “If you return to the LORD with all your heart, remove the foreign gods and the Ashtaroth from among you and direct your hearts to the LORD and serve Him alone; and He will deliver you from the hand of the Philistines.”
        ETC. ETC. ETC………….
        BUT
‘prophet’ TB Joshua says: “take the necessary things out of your houses”????????
I have not heard a call to repentance in any of his, this ‘prophet’s’ predictions?
There is nothing he is saying to help the people, whom these calamities will fall on, get saved from the fire of hell. To show them the way back to God, through Jesus. NOTHING.

  9. y is that u always do against a friend of GOD? stop sending me your messages. am a dire hard of TB Joshua

  10. Hmmmnnnn! Who are these people behind this TB Joshua Watch blog? I just wonder/ They seem to be pre-occupied with all these antagonistic comments against TB Joshua, SCOAN and Emmanuel TV. It is just utterly bizarre that some people will just sit somewhere and make themselves ‘judges’. I do not really see the point in all these. I really will not pass any comment unless I know who are the people behind this blog. If they are sure and bold enough to identify themselves then we can see where they are coming from, but it is just silly dealing with these faceless cowards.

    • Welcome to the site Noah. We have reasons for keeping ourselves anonymous, not least the blackmail, threats of violence and slanderous lies published about people believed to be involved. However, this is dodging the main issue, but I guess if you see no wrong in a “prophet” deceiving his followers and exploiting the misery of suffering people, then nothing we tell you will make you change your mind.

    • @tbjoshuawatch
Though I admire the way you answer comments of people in good manner,I dont agree with the idea here.
If you truly work for God, why would you fear black mails if really there is nothing hiden behind.
-Matthew10:38 Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
Jesus Christ the Master himself was more blackmailed even put to death. His disciples were more black mailed, put in prison, even many to death. But they never hide their identity when working for God.If all people working for God should do it when hiding who they are,who will trust them.
“Anything from Light comes to the light because there is no darkness in it.But anything that fears light has much hidden in it.”

      • Is your name really “childofGod”? It seems a bit rich being chastised by an anonymous person for being anonymous! However, I can see where you’re coming from, but don’t think your examples are entirely applicable. Remaining anonymous is a personal decision, made primarily to avoid our names becoming associated on google with TB Joshua, but also for safety reasons, and there are good reasons to be concerned there.

In any case, I think you are using the fact that we remain anonymous as an excuse to ignore what we say. That is a major mistake. You should weigh up what is said regardless of who it comes from.

      • @tjoshuawatch
I m not pretending to work for God.If I open my web to work for God,i will not hide myself.
Just give an example of people working for God by hiding their identity.
You never answered any question the way it is asked. But you want me to answer you the way you want.

      • ChildofGod very correct. Yes they claim to work for God but then do not make themselves available for persecution? Jesus did not hide his identity for sure and if u are really a child of God and working for him he will protect you. But alias these people save another God who is helpless that is why TBJ is a threat to them and a pain in their asses. They really need to get lives. Some how I feel sorry for them they are full of hate and malice. Am happy that they are not God because he is full of love and compassion which they don’t have. Other wise they could just take a gun and kill who ever they think is evil in their eyes.

      • You make me laugh “please tell us who you are, we want to persecute you!”… Oh ok then, I didn’t realise you had such noble intentions, of course I’ll tell you who I am!

  11. TB Joshua is the most humble person on earth, he never preached against any body, he loves you, prays for you, he is man of God, he gives, but never says bring money to him, please learn from him.

    • @ tulu,

He never asks for money right ?

How long will you keep up lying and deceiving the readers here ? There are several sermons he did when I was there HE ASKED FOR MONEY even to a point that it hurts (a little). And in every branch they ask for money.

  12. The bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 4:3,4, “And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”

Jesse, Jesse, Jesse my brother in Christ, let this guy go. STOP referencing this guy’s comments or replying to it, let it be. Remember the carnal mind that is only pursuing Christianity because of what they can receive from God and not how they can best serve God, the mind who is only into Christianity for signs and wonders, breakthrough, blessings, miracles and prophecies, can never understand the things of God Almighty. The true things of God are foolishness to such individual.

Brother Jesse, hand this over to God, if you continue in this argument for them to change and see the deception in SCOAN (and every other organization like it) and God has not permitted them to see the truth, you are simply wasting your time – truth is a rare commodity that is not meant for everyone.

Make your standard comment on the issue, and the people who God wants to see the truth will quickly grasp it.
Rational people should take what they read hear on this website and test it in the Light of the glorious gospel and check to see if it is so.
Also, I will encourage serious people with a little money to burn on flight ticket take a simple trip to SCOAN to check things out for themselves, do not write for invitation, go on your own to see the real truth. Anyone excusing the wickedness of and in SCOAN and the deception in their videos and TV presentations is nothing but a blind and deceived individual; no one need to waste their time arguing with this sort of person, period.

    @TBJoshuaWatch and General:
Thanks again guys for the effort you made to present to us this blatant deception of the masses. God bless.

    • @Angelica
For the first time,I m glad that you have started to talk wise words.Thouh i dont agree with all what you ve said,at least i m happy you have taken another step to think to”go on your own to see the real truth” in Scoan.
Yes Angelica,I challenge you to do so if you are true of yourself,go on your own and investigate yourself,if possible meet TB Joshua or his family and see.
I m sure you will be back to give a testimony different of what you have read or believe without verifying by yourself.

Dont think most of the guys who are against Scoan, its because they believe Scoan is a cult but its because some of the members of their families are still there as disciples. And those believing its a cult it is because they dont believe in anything like deliverance.
I m not writting this to start argumenting or what,i dont even asking an answer from you but I want you to put your own words in action and investigate yourself as you are advising others to do so and comeback after to tell people the truth you have seen.

  13. @ All,

Meanwhile, I agree with this article. Again world events are being processed in SCOAN to advance their false and fickle agenda of promoting self and the name SCOAN and the name TB Joshua of letting people believe that TB Joshua did foretell all this years ago, but the true facts remain he and his crew and all other so called prophets did nothing about it. Pointless prophecy as simple as that.

Why does he not go to SOUTH AFRICA, where Mandela lies sick since June ? After all it was his picture that was lying on his desk when the news was broadcast. Oh wait, it’s Madela’s and families fault that he is not healed. Distance is not a barrier, huh, only when it comes out convenient and for progress of SCOAN and its inhabitants it is.

  14. Jonestown cult massacre let by Pastor Jim Jones claimed more than 900 lives this day 35 years ago. WE WILL NEVER FORGET.

Well meaning Christians, do not let this tragic history repeat itself.

Say NO to Christian cults and the cultlike culture in Churches wherever you smell it.

Say NO to SCOAN; SCOAN is a cult. Remember, Jim Jones did miracles too!

  15. @jesse
This one just escape my mind
You said :”For me you don’t have to exist on this planet. Go away”Is this real? How foolish even to think like this.
Are you now the judge of who deserve to be on this planet or not?really?who gave you that authority Mr Hard to bridle my tongue?
Is it God or satan?only the devil is the one who can condemn people like this before God decide so.
Who is talking through you Mr looser of temper? No wonder its the devil who can say such foolish thing.

You have gone beyond all boundaries Mr No self control. How massacres you could have done by now if it was God who gave you that
authority to judge who to be on this planet or not? Each time someone who does not listen to your foolishness, you could have just massacre him/her on the moment he/she disagree.Wow i m just overwhelmed how Mr no self control have lost all his senses.
Do you think to kill is not just to commit the act?even to think about it you have just done it.
How much yourself you are a sinner before even you think of others?
How much you need repentance before even you think of others? And you come here as wolf in sheep cloth to judge
others like this:”You dont even know who is The Father and His Love” are you serious Mr who pretends to be what he is not?Is this how you know The Father and His Love?really? How much help you need yourself before you judge others?
Mr wolf in a sheep cloth how a good judge you make Mr No self control!

  16. @ childofgod,

You misrepresenter of the entire Christian principles of love, you come online to sow your nasty demonic, satanic festering discussions here and scan for evil to be amplified from your keyboard to create strife and discord that is fuelled from the demonic realm that is behind and in you and where you have spiritual intercourse with Satan to see how you can defeat me with your sutured hellbent lies you want to spread about. Your daily ways of doing and work is promoting videos, lies and falsehood of the highest Satanic order and the cult you are sucked into and you seek with your vile deceived corrupted mind to deceive and misrepresent anyone that tells you as it is. I am not falling for your deceptive tricks from your carnal and Satanic evil mind. If I say you should not exist it means you mean nothing to me. You have sold your life and soul to Satan and you have corrupted and fornicated yourself with falsehood and stealth techniques to put your vile Satanic messages here in defence of your hellhole and witch coven where you operate from. May God show you your own vice you are into.

    1. Stop your lies. I do believe in deliverance, which you vigorously deny that I don’t. You yourself need deliverance of your self hypnosis of telling yourself of what I do or do not say and take it to misrepresent me with the twisting of my true words and fill it in what I do not mean.

    • @jesse
For jesse this “For me you don’t have to exist on this planet.” equal to this ” you mean nothing to me.”
Well, lets suppose it is even your mouth has much poisons words in it.So for you this is the Love of the Father you admitted to know?
uhmm,You really live a life of someone who knows The Father and His Love.If all people who knows The Love of The Father could mean it like you do,The Father would be very disappointed Mr wolf in sheep cloth. You really need deliverance before you think of others with your own demonic falsehood .

      • @ childofgod,

And who are you then ? Tell me ?

Still harping on my so called “deliverance” ? Why is God not listening to you ? Read this screen, nothing has happened with your deluded in your head “you need deliverance” stories. Go on then talk to God and see if He will deliver me and from what ? From your imaginary demons ? If I defend myself of what happened to me in SCOAN, which I have described in many posts many moons ago, you call me a Mr. wolf ? You are nothing than cheering on destruction in me, the people of TB Joshua Watch and others. Hence showing your true source of your own spiritual condition and lies, which you are incapable to discern yourself. Then you threaten me with your brainwashed infested SCOAN Theories (which is conjuring up demons through them-self and riding them inside of people at will and make a circus display for all to see, as well fake deliverances that don’t exist) pathetic deliverance need. How about apply to the first lunatic asylum available Mr. And write yourself in. You really need to. Mr. “specialist to take another ones words and twist them as you see fit, to blackmail them and coerce them in believing they need a fake deliverance through SCOAN.” Then still not admitting you are a cults tool to draw the ignorant, foolish and gullible in with your sly lies of deception.

Again, Mr. So called deliverance aka charismatic witchcraft practitioner, prove your prowess with your misconstrued only in your head deliverance folly.

  17. @jesse
Yes satan keep talking all your no sense through Mr wolf in sheep cloth.Only you satan can talk the way he does because you never knew The Love of Father but what you know is to disguises yourself as an angel of light. Its sad that Mr wolf in a sheep cloth you are using, cant see how much himself He needs help before to judge others.

  18. I discovered Prophet T.B Joshua this year and during my research I came across this site. Initially I thought this was his church site and soon realised it was not so. But then it didn’t make sense as to why would someone (tbjoshuawatch) who is so close to Jesus Christ so much can call himself/herself by tbjoshua(watch) or his site? Because this site claims that tbjoshua is a satanist, then why would you accept an identity of a satanist seeing that you have the Holy Spirit indwelling in you (you having the Holy Spirit being an assumption because I don’t know). The assumption is based on the fact that thousands of Christians from all over the world are spiritual blind even God’s Generals who flock into SCOAN every year. You being tbjoshuawatch, with jesse, m, terrific, general, Jamie, just wonder , angelica & etc, you are the chosen ones, Holy Spirit filled vessels to bring awareness to the perishing Christians who believe that tbjoshua is a man of God, I also believe you are praying & interceding for those who are going to SCOAN, then leave it to your god, unless you believe he is incapable?
Question: Why are you hiding behind a satanist name if you believe your cause and your god? Is your god not worth dying for? Some were killed, sent to prison, called all sort of names like Synagogue of satan, false prophet, scammer and….and for their God. If you can’t even sacrifice your identity for your god then its some god you are worshipping. I really enjoy watching the real, generous, genuine & humble man of God called Prophet T.B Joshua but I don’t think I come close to you and your friends because it seems you are glued on the Emmanuel TV.
Maybe next time you should not wait for tbjoshua to preach, prophecy, suggest, give generously, conduct deliverance or heal the sick before you have something to do; maybe you can post where you will be having a revival or where you will be preaching, or where you will be conducting an all night prayer, or something that normal man of God do. Or invite us to your church just to have fellowship. Then based on your fruits we will know that you tbjoshuawatch(a man who calls himself by a satanist) you are a man of god.

  19. @ TBJW,

I want to point out to you, with all due respect. If you are not going to approve my posts anymore concerning “childofgod”, you give “childofgod” a free hand to lure you into their trap. Jeremiah 5:26 For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men. Don’t you see that “childofgod” is now playing you to be the judge of this all and playing on your moderatorship ? You have become now putty in the hand of “childofgod”. Because “childofgod” has you right where “childofgod” wanted you. These are the hallmarks of a controlling Jezebel spirit. Controlling the conversations to direct the input and output and put them to their hand and taking a ride with you all with clever twistings of words and confusion slowly taking the upperhand and trying to close your site down. “childofgod’s” purpose is to silence me and eventually you all because I, General, Angelica, M. Just Wonder are one of the most frequent posters and those “childofgod” attacks with all kinds of things to justify TB Joshua’s mistakes.

The tactics of “childofgod” is to work on your emotions and trying to get you on their side. “childofgod” will oppose you whenever “childofgod” likes as modus operandi and being manipulative. Once and while giving you the benefit of the doubt and if you are not careful, “childofgod” separates, divides, invents, schemes, plays the victim when necessary, uses reverse psychological “warfare” to deceive all of you and if possible me, but I see through it of these tactics.

“childofgod” knows I cannot be convinced or conquered about the false prophet TB Joshua anymore and tries now to open all registers to first fight me off and take hold of your emotional feelings and if you give me no mouthpiece anymore to speak here then you all will be next of the wiles of “childofgod”. Do not be deceived by that name “childofgod” is writing. Remember, Angel of Light, but is masqueraded…, you know the score. I would say if you do this, you will be next of “childofgods” vices. All the things you see there operating through “childofgod” are hallmarks of the demonic operations, twisting and charismatic witchcraft. Do not be fooled. The bible speaks and it is written:

………and do not give the devil a foothold. Ephesians 4:27

Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

    Do not become “childofgod’s” victim.

God bless you and pray for wisdom in how the enemy attacks.

  20. childofgod. I am glad you agree with the fact that being partaker of TB Joshua,s ministery needs discernement. You and Jesse fight carnal, you are both not in Spirit. You both cause pain to each-other, . If you have to fight, fight by The Word, and believe it. I am a Son of God. It is my privelige. What-ever TB Joshua or who-ever says about me. amen.

    • @jamie
I m really happy you are the 3rd person to give advise in this matter.Thank you to give a word of truth and justice, not words of taking sides as it is what jesse want people to do.This is about TB Joshua not about me.
As I said before I m not anymore interested in name calling ,hope jesse will do the same and pay his attention to what tjoshuawatch site is all about, not to what anybody is interested in.

  21. @Jesse, take a deep breath & count to 10, it will calm you down. Now slowly read my comments. And then comment on what I wrote. Don’t let your emotions dominate your thoughts or maybe I should say your brain functionalities. All I need to know, where is your place of fellowship? What is your church’s statement of faith? I still say that I really enjoy all night prayers, they just do something to my spirit, when are you having one? Last time I checked it was not a sin to pray with other saints like you, @angelica & tbjoshuawatch.

    • @Mali
This is what i meant about the problem, but I advise you, better you give up,even his/her fellows never succeed.
Pursuit your discussions with others if you want,it will be better.

  22. @ childofgod,

Jesse is totally aware what you say and others. Jesse just has a very strong opinion about matters at hand and especially you when you go off the rail tracks and go to the train station of nowhere, that’s all. Stop looking and thinking any otherwise of what I say or do not say. Again for you it is not about me, keep focussing what TB Joshua does and how it needs to be corrected, because correction it needs, whether he likes it or not.

There is no need to be disappointed, nor is there a problem, just move along. Be happy and enjoy your life without being attached to TB Joshua and the rest of us do. Join here with TB Joshua Watch there are great people to discuss your own problems with and they will help you with your indiscision about TB Joshua. God bless you.

  23. What i know is that demons are confessing who is darkness and who is light. Satan never cast out another satan Mark 3:23-27.
