A reader recently sent us an extremely disturbing video. The video was from Emmanuel TV, and showed a woman testifying to her recent deliverance thanks to the Anointed Water. In the clip below she calls TB Joshua the “messiah of our time” 3 times, and the interviewer makes no attempt to correct this.
TB Joshua is responsible for what is broadcast on his TV channel, the fact that a statement like this has been made not once, not twice, but three times without being challenged should be a serious concern to all supporters of Emmanuel TV, SCOAN or TB Joshua. By broadcasting it they are supporting it. If they don’t support the statement, then we should expect a full and frank retraction.
As we have covered before, this view is not uncommon. There are websites online with pages of articles claiming that he is a messiah, and plenty of SCOAN media gives this message implicitly.

This is making a mockery of the gospel. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, paid a heavy price for our salvation. Giving the title of Messiah to anyone but Jesus belittles the work that Christ did. This belittles the cricifixion of the Savior on the cross. This is Blasphemy!

“orthodox” means following the main and plain tenets of Christianity. Pentecostal churches that teach non-heretical doctrine are within the range of Christian orthodoxy. If you’re willing to say she is not an orthodox Christian, then I guess we are in agreement. If SCOAN does not subscribe to Christian orthodoxy (which requires that Jesus is the ONLY Messiah), then it is a sect and a cult.

You are insulting the intelligence of all Bible-believing Christians. In that same service there is a guy who is giving a testimony about the anointing water. He mistakenly called it “anointing oil” and he was quickly corrected & told it’s “anointing water”. Now common Christian sense & logic would make it clear that if this guy was corrected on the spot about such a MINOR error, then there is certainly no excuse & it is ridiculous why the woman was not corrected after saying 3 times TBJ was the Messiah.of our time, a MAJOR error. This does mean that they don’t think she is in error at this point, they agree with her. If they believed she was in error, just like the guy who mistakenly said “anointing oil”, she would not have gone past saying it the first time.
It makes me physically ill to know that I have a loved one ensnared by this evil man, someone close enough to endanger my children with this horrible false teaching. 😦

Dear All,
Having gone thru your latest “theoretical in my head only” material and looking back I can see that, with me, my visual trouble of not seeing the truth started out with a obnoxious resistance to what was there and unwillingness to see things as they were and are in SCOAN.
The physiological and psychological “solution” I found back then on how to avoid life and live in confusion is in total agreement with my beliefs in SCOAN, TB Joshua and Wisemen (or is it the other way around): sorry I am too confused and nervous to confess I was wrong all along and not knowing what I was thinking or doing.
Using wide range active imaginary superpower visions and beliefs in edited prophecies which made my distant vision worse and made me tired from overloading the visual analyzer, exactly what I needed: less analysis about myself and TB Joshua and Wisemen.
But when I couldn’t see the tennis balls of real truth well enough anymore, a friendly eyedoctor came to my rescue with a nice pair of super glasses, which I could even choose myself! Then I tried a little harder not to see differences, but these thick jam jar TB Joshua “man of god ” belief lenses are in the way!
I succeeded again and again in seeing worse about everyone in TB Joshua Watch instead of better (and avoiding things in general and everybody who pointed out I was wrong in my convictions and beliefs), until another eye doctor came to my rescue and offered better “help” and asked if I could tolerate and accept “Jesus Christ is the only true Messiah” lenses.
Not really Happy with this new challenge (finally I wasn’t ugly anymore, how could I know ?,) I got really busy to build up a higher resistance to life and TB Joshua Watch and writers, bloggers and posters (almost became a monk in SCOAN with my true unadulterated zombie false friendship dedication) Totally wriggling and twisting myself out of to make my wide angle vision that only sees TB Joshua and Wisemen instead of being more fixed on Jesus Christ and His Words and works. To help my poor sight I turned down on the sensitivity of my tactile inabilities to socially interact with TB Joshua Watch bloggers and writers (by learning kickboxing and watching Jean Claude Van Damme and Emmanuel TV movies to fight against anybody who writes against TB Joshua, Wisemen and SCOAN.)
My sense of smell also had given up all by itself over the years and my ears got obstructed with more and more and more withTB Joshua false prophecies, stories and imaginary spiritual nuggets wax despite all the deliverances and healing I had in SCOAN, so hearing and knowing the biblical Truth became a real challenge for me. It did not matter… As long as I could worship TB Joshua, Wisemen and SCOAN, I told myself I was totally fine and Ok. No pun intended.
And as a crown on my laborious labours of love, I am now a nervous wreck and a confused odd ball, who comes and haunt and torture every TB Joshua and Wisemen basher on TB Joshua Watch website.
Incidentally, some weeks ago, one morning after doing my self-invented spiritual high visibility facial workout, I noticed something falling on the floor: it was a ball of earwax. Another one was still laying in the other earshell. Hadn’t even noticed, cause I am still far away from this awful thing called life and the deliverance of my self inflicted beliefs about TB Joshua “is a messiah of this time”, but I took a quick look…and forgot all of it when I returned with a vengeance to the TB Joshua Watch website.
So many respectful thankees Doc and all pro TB Joshua Watch writers here, for my increase in understanding of what the blankety blank is going on here! Because it really can’t be true of what you all write here. No, no, no, no ! Or is it true after all ? Time will tell. Hmmmm. Scratch, scratch.
PS: Until I read about the right choices we can make to see something in the Light of Gods Word, I hadn’t realized that in my current efforts to reactivate true natural eye and hearing function, I was forgetting to first do the wide angle part, lock on the object, and only then narrow down on it and start shifting, twisting and use words against everybody who do not confess that TB Joshua is “the messiah of our time” My bad… I truly ask for forgiveness now for my misunderstandings and accusations.
In the same reading I also came to think of the people I didn’t like for “searching” me all over in a conversation or so. I would surely never be so nervous now and intrusive as they were!

Nicodemus was speaking to and about Jesus Christ. There is NO comparison between Jesus and TBJ. Moreover, that Scripture is a record of a conversation, not law or doctrine, and further on in the conversation Nicodemus shows that he lacks understanding in his conception of Jesus’ status as Messiah and of salvation. This Scripture does not say that you can always tell a “man of God” or the Messiah by signs and wonders.

SA has 52 982 000 people according to STATS SA. 95% [that you claim is people who have stickers on their cars] of this number is 50 million. This is a problem because there are only about 10.95 million live vehicles. If you exclude caravans & trailers you are down to 9.8 million vehicles. If you go a bit deeper in number crunching, take out buses, trucks & bikes you are left with about 6.3 million live cars & station wagons; this 64% of 9.8 million. Assuming that it is one car for one individual you are now down to 12% in relation to all people in SA. This number would go down if we consider that some people have 2 or more cars. So assuming all these cars have TBJ stickers, 12% is the best you can get to, it couldn’t be higher than that, so stop lying to yourself & others. I would really like to know where you got that number

Who calls him a prophet? You? And who are you to appoint prophets? He fails Biblical standards for leadership in multiple ways, yet you are blinded by poor acting and syncretistic powers. Tbj is no prophet. He regularly predicts events after secular analysts have been talking about it for weeks, from which we can conclude that he reads news magazines. Whoopdedoo. He also regularly edits and recycles his so called prophecies. If that is your standard, it’s pretty low.
Further, he allows people to bow to him, or kneel before him. And broadcasts on HIS programs their testimonies that he is
messiah, son of
jesus, seated at the right hand of God, above all other prophets. He labels his annointing water “the blood of Jesus” and willfully creates a demand for it that led to deaths. That is not the behavior of a true prophet of God.

What is even more amazing is that TBJ is not the only man doing this. Sign Fireman? Seen Jesus (so he says)! The only true prophet! “Daddy” to many. “Hundreds and thousands” healed in his services. Ministry “proved” by the healings and the fact that he apparently has more money than he knows what to do with. I have no doubt that “messiah” will soon also be applied to him. I’ve already seen “prophet of our generation” and “the last great prophet” used to refer to him.

Thank you @tbjoshuawatch for this website and for exposing tbj for the false prophet he is. I watched ONE video of tbj’s so-called miracles years ago and I knew then that he is NOT a man of God.
Some of the comments from the tbj proponents here are really quite unbelievable. So, what they are basically saying here is that tbj is Jesus – wow, wow, wow, wow – just WOW! It’s shocking! Reading some of the comments made me extremely fearful and a bit nauseated. My JESUS being blasphemed like this…
From watching snippets of emmanuel tv, I always had the idea that all tbj was doing was promoting himself as the messiah – the pride in this man is absolutely astounding – but to actually see people say it on video (repeating it for emphasis) and to read the claims of some of his followers?!?!? It’s horrifying and boggles the mind!! I don’t understand why people are so deceived by this because for me it’s blatantly clear that this man is a fraud of the highest order!! I find it all confusing and, more than that, really, really, really heartbreaking…
