TB Joshua, the messiah? Is it SCOAN behind these claims?

In the last post, we looked at some particularly disturbing ideas coming from the site “Watch TB Joshua” claiming that TB Joshua is the messiah. In this post, we will write about why we believe that these claims are not the views of an obsessed individual, but actually the exact message TB Joshua himself wants to project.

If you want people to believe you’re the Messiah, do you publicly tell everyone that? Or do you make continuous and subtle suggestions over many years until a decent number of people start making the claim on your behalf? TB Joshua has wisely taken the second option.

The claims of Soe on “Watch TB Joshua” are not uncommon, what is uncommon is how blatant they are. One of the comments highlights this fact as one follower of TB Joshua objects to the claims:

Please stop blaspheming. How can you equate TB Joshua to Jesus Christ. I do not believe you started this debate in good faith. You want to bring controversy around the name of the prophet. I watch his teachings everyday and not once has he implied that he more than a servant of our Lord and savor Jesus Christ.

Then in another comment says:

Let us make our Standard for Life the word of God. Only then will we interpret the bible accurately and stop speculating and insinuating mischevously about who Prophet TB Joshua. Allow the prophet to fulfill his mandate from God i.e. “Redeem and save our generation”

To which Soe (quite rightly) replies:

Isn’t such also the mandate given to the messiah?

Here we see that even someone who reacts negatively to the claim that TB Joshua is the messiah, actually believes the same, she just hasn’t put it in so many words before.

This is not surprising  because SCOAN publicity is littered with subtle (and not so subtle) messianic claims, for example – TB Joshua keeping a watchful eye over our planet.

A not so subtle rhetorical question on the front of (what we assume to be) SCOAN’s internal publication (click to enlarge):

Side View magazine

TB Joshua’s anointing water is “for the salvation of your soul”, something only a messiah can do.

Another way of receiving salvation (and blessing and prosperity) is to keep watching Emmanuel TV

Emmanuel TB’s official blog is called “Distance is not a barrier”. Isn’t that stating the obvious given that God is omnipotent? This slogan makes no sense unless we were talking about God in human flesh, i.e. a christ.

Numerous other hints could be mentioned, such as TB Joshua’s teaching that his words are infallible, naturally leading to the belief that they are equal to scripture, or the claim that TB Joshua is the Junior brother of Jesus (in other words, the son of God). However, the best evidence that this is the message SCOAN are subtly (and not so subtly) projecting is documented in the series of posts Soe has compiled starting here.

A message to SCOAN

It’s not unlike you to issue official press releases to address incorrect rumours. If you genuinely have no intention of giving the impression we’ve described above – you need to clearly and emphatically deny them. Distancing yourself from the blogs in question is not enough, you need to clearly state that TB Joshua is not a messiah* but a human being in as much need of God’s saving grace as any other, and that any claims to the contrary are blasphemy of the highest order.

We await your response, but until then we will be left with no other option than to assume that this is the impression you intend to give.

A message to supporters of TB Joshua, Emmanuel TV and SCOAN

You should pay careful attention to these developments. As you can see from this article, it does seem very clear that SCOAN are implying that TB Joshua is a messiah, even if they have never said it outright. You need to be pressing them for clear answers on this issue.

    Matthew 24:24

For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up in the last days and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones.

    Mathew 7:15-24

    Jesus said:

Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Mat 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Mat 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Mat 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Mat 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Mat 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Mat 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

    1 Tim 3:13

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

    • When people quote this Mathew 24:24 , they conveniently forget to read it in context : the false prophet OVERTLY(without room for speculation of subtle claims, as is being suggested) claims HE IS the messiah !! In addition , the Bible does not say he will do those mighty signs and wonders by the name of Jesus . In fact , the Bible makes it clear that it is not possible to make anything come to pass in the name of Jesus without the consent of the Holy Spirit !!!

      • Osagie, it appears you don’t really know your Bible. There is only one Messiah and all others are false messiahs. And yes, false prophets are able to do miracles in the name of Jesus. Matthew 7:22.

    • john14-13 and whatever you ask in my name that i will do that the father may be glorified in the son john 14-14 if you ask anything in my name i will do it tb josua is god of man amen

    • @ Doi,
You have not answered my question to you, and I’m sure everyone is waiting for your answer. Tell us, Doi, ” Which of the messianic prophesies did your fake prophet, T B Joshua fulfill ?” We’re waiting to hear from you, please.

      • he wont answer. We’ve been through all this. Basically, every single mesaianic prophecy is shrouded in mystery, we’re in the dark about what the Bible REALLY means when it says things like “when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies”, etc
Obviously the only one (er, i mean One) who can explain the true meaning of the Bible is old TB.

  3. You are all much to kind about this deluded Profhet. He creates more troubles then ever have been in bibly history. Dont be fixed on his behaviors, see what is the effect of his mission on others, on humanity. Stickers for houses, cars and becoming multimiljonair. A anoited sticker will take the place of the own faith in God of the bible. People are gone kill each-other for such a sticker in future. A Indian poor man cuts the sticker in 7 pieces, so his poor village can have some benefit too of it. Is this an answer to the suffering of the hunger and poor? Can this be called responsibility to the helpf our human-fellow-brother, by a televison-station with more then 300.000 members, ? Is this sticker with our godly profhet on it, the goodness of God for His people? Or is it about a cheap way to attrac and bind desperate and innocent people, to a false promise of hope and prosperity? In stock is a chip-card, with more and abundance promises of wealth, material gain, restored marriages and more of carnal desires. Is this a anoited spirit-church, or is it a buzziness to explore Gods blessings in a way that is beyound all concepts of charity and love for our fellow-brother? does our dear profhet wants to proove he has acces to the secrets of the bible, and is legimated to use this treasures as he chooses it? It must be a great honour for our profhet, to be in the book of life, with a marginal note; Pictured on 2 miljion stickers to help the needy. God knows what the truth of this stickers are. 2 miljion cars, houses, trees, stones, doors, have such a sticker placed on it. It must be about teaching and preaching the gospel of Christ somewhere, somehow.

  4. Its not so important if this profhet claims Messiah-grandeur. Every sincere believer can see through it. His contrary statements, charity actions, the way he humiliates people during deliverances, the discutabel profhesies, the way he treads his discipels, his spiritual level of understanding the truth, his carnal mis-behaviors, his blaming-campain towards the so-called agents of satan who critizm him, his blamings to the church-members for faults he made in the past, his way of treating women, his empty promises of all sorts of plans he wants to accomplisch, his repeated statements and sermons on daily bases, without any newness in it. His anoitings which fade away after 2 days, his forcing ways to keep controle about his disciples and members, the terrible testemony-rituals, the dirty videos about poor people with their dung-addictions, This vision of the profhet, is a self-created bad dream, and I am sure our Messiah does not have anything in common with it, nor to do with it.

  5. His wife has been on management-school, thats why the whole scoan-system appears as a good-ruled management-system. Behind a great man is a great woman. 2 for the price of 1. / 20 anoitings-sessions to receive salvation, in steat of the one-time grace of God Himself., on His time. Its a buzziness-system, for winners or loozers. For forgiveness of sin while we are waiting. For healings when the faith is lifted up by force, and for everything the heart desires and can not buy or accomplisch it elsewhere. Winning of souls by material gain, cheap attractive promises, and worthless sermons leading to no single life-in Christ. The anoitings give life for a while, And tb joshua is the cause of all this empty nonsence. The bibly-foundation is no system, its a revelation. And guided by the Holy spirit. The Holy Goast does not needs management -buzziness-tools to do His work. The Holy Spirit is a free operating spirit of God. The bible promises provision when seeking the Kingdom of God. So no church-buzziness is needed to receive the best of God. Praying in faith is enough.

  6. We can so summarize this article by saying that the author is observing that many clues point towards the idea that TBJ is a kind of a Christ. Your article is very interesting.

But… could you please source each images ? I will comment the “side view” magazine’s image. Graphically, it seems fake for many reasons : text indents are not respected, and uppercases at the beginning of each sentence either. The template is childish. I really doubt that this magazine is a legit one.

About that Soe again, what is her/his ip address ? If he/she comes from Nigeria, you should publish it online, at least the 9 first numbers (not all of them) for proof. Again, the content of this article is based on hints, suppositions… and opinions. https://tbjoshuawatch.wordpress.com/2012/10/02/tb-joshua-the-messiah/#comment-5479

To everyone that is on this blog, pray very much to know that truth about TBJ. I know that God will guide you, not men, comments, testimonies, photos, websites, blogs…

    • The first, third and forth images were sourced from the SCOAN London website. The first is the annointed sticker and the third and forth are on the Annointing Water packaging. The Side View magazine was admitedly sourced from the Watch TB Joshua website, we showed it to an ex-disciple who didn’t recognise it but said they have had various internal publications over the time at SCOAN, so it is most likely one of them. No, we don’t have proof on that one, but ask yourself – how can you explain it any other way? If Soe was mocking up an image for his website, why would he make it out to be a magazine cover?

As for Soe’s IP address, I think you’re bringing up a red herring here. The issue is not what Soe says, it’s what SCOAN says. Is Soe stating explicitly what SCOAN are saying implicitly? Rather than wondering who Soe is, why not discuss what the meaning of the images and statements mentioned above are.

      • Thank you for your reply and for sourcing the images. Raising Soe ip’s question was because this blog is stating that he is (or was) a disciple of TBJ. This same Soe has inspired you to write this article and also the front last article. So to make sure that every arguments is solid, the least but not last thing to do is to check if this Soe is not fake. If finally he is a lie, all your articles are to be questionned.

As I said, it’s like a scientific demonstration, if your hypothesis is false, your whole demonstration will become false, EVEN IF it is logical and full of sense. It is a fact.

      • Even if it transpired the Soe was actually against TB Joshua and was writing the blog to discredit him (although we know that’s not the case), it wouldn’t take away any weight from the argument presented above, because the argument presented above uses SCOAN sourced material. The only reason Soe comes into the equation is that he is stating explicitly that TB Joshua is the messiah, something that SCOAN have only ever implied. As we stated in the article, a false christ is unlikely to make the messianic claim themselves, but instead condition their followers over a number of years until they make the claim on their behalf. Soe is not the first to make this claim, but he’s the first to make it so publicly.

      • T B Joshua never went to the cross, he never died nor rose from the dead, nor did he ascend to heaven. but is still at Ikotun Egbe, in Lagos, his headquarters, yet he loves to be acclaimed a messiah. Yes, he knows there are stupid people out there who would believe his lies, and he’s begun with Soe and Doe to bear the responsibility of “projecting” him as messiah, but he’s failed woefully ! We would continue to alert the ignorant people to wake them up from their slumber. Shame on you, T B Joshua, I, Mr Terrific, in the name of the Lord Jesus, hand you over to Satan so you would learn not to blaspheme ! 1 Tim 1:20.

      • You forgot some points: There is the old anointing sticker and the new anointing sticker; There is the old anointing water and the new anointing water and there is the anointed water as emblems of Scoan.
All these have the picture of TB Joshua instead of Jesus Christ, there is no picture of the cross of Christ. The belief is in TB Joshua and not Jesus Christ. You forgot another thing The prayers: In praying one has to agree with TB Joshua and not Christ to mention but a few.

  7. I read most comment over year watching TV Joshua (Emanuel TV) I don’t her saying Joshua I am Jesus if he say I am a brother of Jesus me too all bournagain a Jesus brother ! I agree with him Jesus him self called as berather etc biblical but Jesus is God in cornet(in flash) he is only one what’s I see Joshua let’s & night he spend time praying he lessons his voice why can we like him commitment that’s my comment

  8. I have said in the previous post that T B Joshua is a man of duplicity and this is the way he works. He tells his lackeys to do his dirty job for him, while he goes behind the scenes pretending he doesn’t even know what’s going on, but we know him more than he knows himself. Only fools would believe that this Nigerian 419 prophet is messiah. This one too shall pass and Temitope Balogun Joshua goes into the record books as one of the false messiahs. The Lord Jesus already told us so, so why is anyone surprised ?

  9. According to the web-site: http://watchtbjoshua.wordpress.com/ and others TB Joshua is compared to and as a prophet and messiah like Moses, Elijah, JESUS CHRIST THE MESSIAH and Apostle Peter and Paul?

So let us compare all these Prophet’s anointed messianic teachings on the subject of sin:

Remember the statements on Watch tbj:

“The manner in which tbj fits into the messiah’s profile is far too overwhelming evidence in itself, that it makes you wonder why anyone would question so much evidence”

So let check out the overwhelming evidence of tbj’s words in the manner which he fits into the messiah’s profile with Moses, Elijah, Jesus, Peter and Paul.

    1. TB Joshua, the Reigning Messiah’s teaching on forgiveness of sins in the sermon on – Who needs forgiveness examined?
We Christians pray for a relationship with Christ forever. A lasting relationship with Christ is healing forever, it is deliverance forever. How do we receive a lasting relationship? We receive if we receive Christ first. How do we receive Christ first? When we ask Him not to comfort us until we are cleansed. When we are not clean and we are comforted, the comfort will face a test of time. It will be a temporary measure. Open your heart for his spirit and his words. Begin right now to take all the breakthrough keys which sin has stolen from you. I am glad that you are blessed. When your sin is forgiven you are blessed and healed. I am saying to you that you are blessed in Jesus name. Rise up and confess it. …………….
I say to you: “Your sins are forgiven” Begin to receive the joy of salvation – TB Joshua 1

    a. Here tbj pronounces forgiveness of sins (not God), the focus is on tbj.
    B.Without a word on repentance!
    c. And his different gospel on: How do we receive Christ first? When we ask Him not to comfort us until we are cleansed. Where does this stand in the Bible? It also means nothing. He is misleading his people to think that they are blessed and forgiven, without repentance of their sins and turning to God through Jesus! And then not even asking our Lord Jesus Christ to bless them, but get them to take the keys of blessings themselves? There is no focus on Jesus or God, but on himself and the people on themselves.

My people are destroyed because of a lack of knowledge (of the Bible). “Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you as my priests because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children” – Hosea 4:6.

You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? – Galatians 3:1

For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough – 2 Corinthians 11:4

  10. So let us compare all these Prophet’s anointed messianic teachings on the subject of sin with tbj’s:

Exodus 15:26 He said, “If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.”
Deuteronomy 28:59 If you do not carefully follow all the words of this law, which are written in this book, and do not revere this glorious and awesome name–the LORD your God– the LORD will send fearful plagues on you and your descendants, harsh and prolonged disasters, and severe and lingering illnesses.

1 Kings 16:18 She asked Elijah, “Why, prophet, have you come to me to confront me with my sin and kill my son?”

Matthew 4:17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”
Mark 6:12 So they went out and preached that people should turn away from their sins.
Luke 13:3 “But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”

Acts 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

19 ”So then, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the vision from heaven. 20 First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and to the Gentiles also, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds. 21 That is why the Jews seized me in the temple courts and tried to kill me. 22 But I have had God’s help to this very day, and so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen– 23 that the Christ would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would proclaim light to his own people and to the Gentiles.” Acts 26:19-23
    Acts 20:21
21 I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.

Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear
    Isaiah 1:15 When you spread out your hands in prayer, I will hide my eyes from you; even if you offer many prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are full of blood;
Micah 3:4 Then they will cry out to the LORD, but he will not answer them. At that time he will hide his face from them because of the evil they have done

    • they wont scrutinise with the word of God, despite what they say. Its no use. They will only see what they want to see. All the messianic prophecies of jesus’ return are all supposed to be “shrouded in mystery” and no one can really understand. I’ve tried walking through all the messianic prophecies from the prophets. They read into the Bible what they want.

  11. tbj is a true man of God. this article is baseless & a product of jealousy in the eyes of true children of God who knows that tbj has never claimed to be a messiah. God bless tbj.

    • joel 2-28 it shall come to pass afteward that i will pour out my spirit on oll flesh your sons and u daughters shall prohesy ur old man shall dream dreams ur young men shall see visions who is prophecy in god charch they are god children tb josua is man of god

  12. T B Joshua’s claim that he is the messiah is SATANIC and demonstrates that we’re already in the LAST DAYS when many false prophets shall claim to be messiahs. No one should be surprised at all because our Lord Jesus had already warned us that this would happen, and only those who believe this nonsense would be deceived. In other words, if you IGNORE the Lord’s warning, then you could become a victim of this fake Nigerian prophet, and don’t blame anyone but your own self.

  13. T B Joshua must come out to confess his sin of claiming to be the messiah, misleading those with weak minds, and offer an unreserved apology to all his deluded followers. If he confesses his sin and retracts this abominable claim, perhaps the judgement that is already upon his head might be mitigated.

  14. Please make God’s Word the standard for your life and not tbj’s!

You are going to miss heaven!

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world – 1 John 4:1

10 and with all the deceit of unrighteousness in those who perish, because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie,

12 that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

13 But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren, beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you for salvation, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth – 2 Thessalonians 2:10-13

If God will send you a spirit of strong delusion, who is going to convince and convict you of sin and God’s righteous judgment on it?

  15. @Jamie. ”people are gone kill each other for such a sticker in the future” where did you get this from? Hmmm. Coz it might just be a prophecy.

    @ just wonder.
Why do you base your judgements on a particular message you heard of which you misinterprete. I believe you should have a sence of reasoning here, unless you are not a christian. when T.b.J say; we should ask him (GOD) not to comfort us untill we are cleansed. What does that tell you? What are we to be cleansed of? Our righteousness? Certainly not! but sin. And the prayer point that day was taken from psalm 51. ask Jesus not to comfort us until we’re cleansed from our sin. How does that pay attention to T.b. Joshua? In subsequent messages he talks about sin being the bitter root of all pain and we should strike the root by acknowledging we are sinners in need of God’s mercy and favour (luke 5:8) then when we are forgiven, we are healed, blessed, delivered indeed.etc. How does this go against christ? So if you actually did not get the whole message or do not understand the message, then it will do you more good to remain silent!

@Terrific. Keep on asking. You know what to do inorder to get your answers.

    • @ Doi,
You just don’t have any answers because you know that your claim and your false prophet’s claim that he is messiah is false and there is no biblical proof whatsoever. You people are just misleading the Lord’s people because of their ignorance of the Word of God, and instead of showing them the light you’re leading them into darkness because there is no light and no truth in the mouth of your fake prophet, T B Joshua.

  16. Watch tbj; “How come you are so blinded to the Bible?” Do you not read your Bibles?
Christ’s return will be literal and real. It’s in the Bible, Acts 1:10-11, TLB. “It was not long afterwards that Jesus rose into the sky and disappeared into a cloud, leaving them staring after Him. As they were straining their eyes for another glimpse, suddenly two white-robed men were standing there among them, and said, ‘Men of Galilee, why are you standing here staring at the sky? Jesus has gone away to heaven, and some day, just as He went, He will return!'”
    Watch tbj; You are saying;
“The manner in which tbj fits into the messiah’s profile is far too overwhelming an evidence in itself, that it makes you wonder why anyone would question so much evidence, We understand how this must be a lot to take in, but it’s the reality, Just as the reality of Elijah’s return was the appearance of yet another totally separate and distinct Prophet of God, John the Baptist, so also is the reality of the messiah’s return in the appearance of the Man in the Synagogue if we are willing to accept it.
And just as the truth of Elijah’s return as John the Baptist was unknown to the Jewish people anticipating his return, the truth of the messiah’s first coming unknown to the Jewish people awaiting him coming, so also is the truth of the messiah’s return as the man in the synagogue unknown the Christian populace awaiting his coming until perhaps after he leaves with his people.”
As a matter of fact, this scripture is fulfilled in our generation today. “…among you stands someone whom you do not know“. (John 1)
    The Bible says:
That the coming of Jesus Christ will be open for all to see, just as He left He will come back, all eyes will see him around the world, not on the TV or Internet and it will be full of power and glory. The Word of God clearly states that if any one says; “’Look, here is the Messiah,’ or ‘There he is,’ don’t believe it”.

Matthew 24:23 “Then if anyone tells you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah,’ or ‘There he is,’ don’t believe it.
Luke 17:23 Men will tell you, ‘There he is!’ or ‘Here he is!’ Do not go running off after them.
Matthew 7:15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
Rev 1:7 “Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him”. So shall it be! Amen –
Matthew 16:27 “For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done”.
Matthew 24:30 “At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory”.

  17. Hi Giles,

    My answer on:

“they wont scrutinise with the word of God, despite what they say. Its no use. They will only see what they want to see. All the messianic prophecies of jesus’ return are all supposed to be “shrouded in mystery” and no one can really understand. I’ve tried walking through all the messianic prophecies from the prophets. They read into the Bible what they want”.

This is exactly true. Have spoken to them face to face and this is exactly how they think. It is no use……….it is realy NO USE, they only see and believe what they want and what tbj feeds them. It is unbelievable how strong his mind control and his control is over them! His evil magnetic pull over them.

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God – 2 Corinthisans 4:4.

The spirit of delution is unbelievably strong in that place.

If Jesus Christ will not come through for them, they will stay blind.

    1 Tim 3:13
But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived!

  18. Giles,
You might find this series of DVD’s very interesting in the light of what you know.
Listen to it with an open mind. You might not agree with every thing, but take what is true and first make up your mind after you have listened to all the DVD’s.

  19. @ Doi
Here we have another prophecy of Jesus, in Numbers 24
“I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.” (v17)

Smite Moab (modern day southern Jordan). Earlier in verse 14, we have the context of when this takes place: “I will advertise thee what this people shall do to thy people in the LATTER DAYS.” (last days, “end times”).

The prophecy goes on – quite clearly – to list the other nations this “Sceptre, the Star out of Jacob” shall destroy in the latter days, (by the way, all of whom today are middle eastern nations and fall under Islam).

Could you please explain how TB Joshua fulfills this prophecy?

  20. @Giles
”i see him but not now, i behold him, but not near. A star will rise out of isreal…..”
does this actually talk about the second coming of Jesus? Does it explains the coming of yet another messiah? Giles, you have to take things easy here, coz you’re making this more complicated.

  21. @ Doi,
Please we’re begging you now, please come and explain to us how TBJ fulfills the messianic prophesies, then we would know where we’re wrong and you’re right. Please come and show us the way, we want to know. Just give us one or two prophesies, and we would believe.

  22. What second Messiah?! There is only one “Annointed One”
Show me just once in the Bible where it speaks of TWO Messiahs!

Even if it DID speak of “another Messiah” (this is both heretical and absurd); but lets entertain this – lets say that there really are somehow TWO Messiahs. Jesus, and….(sigh) TB Joshua.
Once again, Doi, question still stands. Reading your reply again, I can see you didnt actually answer. HOW is TB Joshua going to devastate Jordan? Explain this to me Doi. Jesus sure never did it when He was here first time.

  23. It also says this Messiah, the Sceptre, the Star out of Jacob, shall be exactly that, Doi. OUT OF JACOB. (Im assuming you know what is meant by Jacob….right?)

    Not out of Lagos!

**cant decide whether to laugh of cry**

  24. @Giles
since you believe there’s only one Messiah how come the only messiah didn’t fufil the devastation of jordan? Stop contradicting yourself.
And The star out of Jacob actually talks about Jesus.

In every Generation God often sends Messiah to rescue His people. Are you saying God cannot do such now? 4get about researching different prophecies and asking me to link them to T.b. Joshua. It makes no sence. The proves have already been clearly stated on the watchtbjoshua blog. So Terrific you had better go there and stop asking me irrelevant questions. You’re being too selfish here.

  25. Doi, it says that will happen in the last days….it has not happened yet. When it does happen, it will be done by Jesus at his second coming, aka “the Day of the Lord”, foretold so many times throughout the Bible. Yes, the Star out of Jacob talks about Jesus, I’m glad we agree.

    1) Now I’m confused – if you think this is a prophecy of what Jesus will do to Jordan (Moab) when He returns, why do you think that TB joshua is Jesus?

    2) In Acts 1:10 we read: And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this SAME Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall SO COME IN LIKE MANNER AS YE HAVE SEEN HIM GO INTO HEAVEN.

What does the TB Joshua theory say in regard to this? Were the angels mistaken?
    3) Do you believe that Jesus is God?
    4) and if yes, and you also believe that TB Joshua is Jesus, does this mean you believe that TB Joshua is God?
    5) Please, once again, could you show me where it says there are two messiahs?

Sorry for all the questions, I’m confused what exactly you believe, im starting to suspect we both believe different things entirely about Jesus. thanks

  26. There is only one Messiah and His name is Jesus, the Savior who died on the cross to redeem mankind. T B Joshua is a false messiah. I have said again and again and again that this T B Joshua is deceitful, dishonest, a hypocrite, a liar, a 419 prophet, adulterer, fornicator and what have you, and now he has proved me right beyond any shadow of doubt. Why should he claim to be messiah and send Doe and Soe to propagate this abominable claim for him ? Because he is as much deluded as his followers, but only stupid people can believe this worthless and nonsensical claim.

  27. Jesus said.. You err bcos you know not the scripture, and the power of God… I can see the owner of this blog as jobless, irrelevant, rouble-rowser… T.B Joshua, the toughest, humblest & most poerful prophet will not give u an answer, bcos he knows the best answer for a fool….

  28. Tb joshua is a man of God,whether you like it or not,by the time you realise it,you will be far behind. And there has never been a time that he has claimed to be the messiah, God uses him to reach out to us his people, just like he used nathan, moses, elisha and elijah. The Bible says…touch not my annointed ones….it is always best to keep quiet when it comes to pastors and prophets because you don’t want to anger the holy spirit. Even Jesus was not accepted in his own hometown, a prophet is never accepted in his home. About the annointing water and stickers, Tb joshua clearly says, it is not the annointing water that heals, but it is your faith, some people even minister the annointing water several times. And are not healed becoz they do not have faith.when you are using whether its the annointing water or sticker, know that it is one thing that God is using to reach out to his people to save his people, that’s why Tb joshua, even before the new annointing water came,he clearly said, I’m praying about it,so that God shows me what to do next. So you can say all you want, it won’t change how I see this man, until you have received healing or blessing through this man, you will keep saying all these things. But because I have received a miracle from God through tb joshua,I will kip on praying to the almighty God that tb joshua prays to. Those people with HIV went back to taking their drugs, why because they did not believe they had been healed, they had little faith in what God could do for them through Tb joshua, you keep mentioning that his miracles are fack,ok then how come we never have. All those people he gives money, food, school fees and other things come back and say tb joshua is fake, you guys are so lost, pray that the holy spirit opens you eyes

  29. Giles don’t misquote things here. Num 24:17. That prophecy was about Jesus coming out out of the lineage of Jacob,(of which Jesus did came) And i seriously do not think it has anything to do with the second coming coz Jesus wasn’t even given birth to then.
And i’ve told you before, bringing different prophecies and asking me to relate it to T.b.J doesn’t make much sence, coz i’m not God. And can’t interprete all prophecies.

    • Yes Doi, the prophecy is about Jesus. Theres a lot of information to gather from what is said. As you rightly pointed out, it shows that He would be of the lineage of Jacob, not Esau. But dont stop there. Why is it that you can understand the “Star out of Jacob” bit, but you dont understand what “Smite the corner of Moab” means?
I think it means the Star of Jacob will smite the corner of Moab. Lets read it again.

And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise (reveal) thee what this people (Israel) shall do to thy people (Moab) in the LATTER DAYS (last days)….
“I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of
Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel (Jesus), and shall SMITE THE CORNER OF MOAB, and destroy all the children of Sheth.”

Heres what another prophet later prophecied regarding what would happen to Moab in the latter days. Jer 48:43-47

…but a FIRE SHALL COME FORTH out of Heshbon, and a FLAME FROM THE MIDST OF SIHON, and shall DEVOUR THE CORNER OF MOAB……Woe be unto thee, O Moab!…. .Yet will I bring again the captivity of Moab in the LATTER DAYS, saith the Lord.
Thus far is the judgment of Moab.

See Doi, both these prophecies are of the same nation, the modern day Jordan. Both give the time this will happen: in the last days. The Star of Jacob, Jesus, in the “end times”, is going to destroy Jordan. The Numbers prophecy uses the word “smite”. Jeremiah uses the word “judgement”.

Could you please answe those questions before? Im not sure anymore whether you have the same opinion of Jesus as Christians.

      Is Jesus God?

If TB Joshua is Jesus, then does that make TB Joshua God?

  30. Below is a list of the major Messianic prophecies, about Jesus the Messiah in the Bible.

    Isaiah 52:13-53:12
    Isaiah 49:1-7
    Isaiah 42:1-9
    Isaiah 50:4-10
    Psalm 118:22-23
    Psalm 22:1-31
    Psalm 16:7-11
    Psalm 110:1-6
    Micah 5:2
    Isaiah 7:14
    Isaiah 9:6-7
    Psalm 2:1-12
    Isaiah 11:1-10
    Daniel 9:24-27
    Malachi 3:1-6
    Genesis 49:10
    Zechariah 9:9
    Zechariah 12:10-13:1
    Daniel 7:13-14
    Jeremiah 31:31-34

    • Many of these prophesies have already been fulfilled by the Lord Jesus in the first coming, and now we are particularly concerned with prophesies regarding the second coming and how the fake prophet, T B Joshua fits into them. I’m just waiting for Doe or Soe to come up with them, and you would see real fireworks, but they dare not, because there isn’t any, and there’s no place for T B Joshua except in Matt 24:4,5,11,23,24,

  31. TB Joshua,

It is beter not to go to these lengths to “BUILD A NAME FOR YOURSELVES” like in the days of the Tower of Babel – “Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, SO THAT WE MAY MAKE A NAME FOR OURSELVES” – Gen 11:4.

There is only ONE Anointed One from God now and that is Jesus the Messiah (Christ). If we are born again and spirit filled, we are all under His Anointing. So there is nothing to brag about. Jesus is the One……….although many might be filled with the Holy Spirit and received the anointing of the Holy Spirit. In the end, we only partake of His Anointing. The focus should only be on Jesus and on no one else.

The Holy Spirit always lifts Jesus the Messiah up. not people.

    Remember Herod;

They shouted, “This is the voice of a god, not of a man.” Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died – Acts 12:22-23.

  32. TB Joshua,

Look how the Apostle Paul handled the situation when other peolpe called them gods, because of their anointing. They were not saying they are anointed gods. but others and they had the true anointing from the Holy Spirit (anointing in hebrew is the word messiah)

This girl followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.”
She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so troubled that he turned around and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ; ‘ I command you to come out of her’” At that moment the evil spirit left her.
When the owners of the slave girl realized that their hope of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to face the authorities. – Acts 16:17-19.

This man heard Paul speak. Paul looked at the man. He saw that the man believed he would be healed.
10 Paul said, `Stand up on your feet!’ The man jumped up and walked.
11 When the people saw what Paul had done, they shouted in their own language, `The gods have become like men! They have come down to visit us.’………………
………………..14 But when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of it, they tore their clothes and ran in among the people shouting.
15 They said, `Why are you people doing this? We are only men like you. You should leave these gods which cannot help you. You should turn to the living God. He made the sky, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them – Acts 14:9-11, 14-15.

    We are awaiting you response.

  33. LATTER DAYS! LATTER DAYS!! LATTER DAYS!!!. Lets read. ‘I shall see him but not now, i shall behold him but not nigh; there shall come a star out of Jacob (JESUS) and a sceptre shall rise out of Isreal (JESUS) and shall smite the corner of Moab and destroy all the children of seth’.
The later days didnot talk about the second coming of Jesus but the first. Except you are telling me that in Jesus’ second coming, he would also come from the leneage of Jacob. Then, no one knew about anyone called Jesus Christ. Latter days then, meant the first coming. So Many of these prophecies Must have been fufilled without our recognition. It never said ”A star will come out of Jacob, and when He returns a second time, He’ll smite the corners of Moab” NO! What don’t you understand!
So don’t request that i relate it To T.b.J b’cos your question is out of context. Thanks

    • So if this prophecy is about when Jesus came the first time, why was it not fulfilled? Absolutely nothing happened to Jordan.

And yet again, Doi – you’re skirting this vital question. I’m not all that sure you’re a Christian. Christians believe Jesus is God. Jehovah’s Witnesses believe He is the Son of God, and that He is the Messiah, but He is not actually God Himself.

Three times I’m now asking you this simple question which distinguishes Jehovah’s Witnesses from Christians.

Is Jesus God? Yes or no.

  34. @Terrific. You are looking for proofs? Yes there is. But you know what to do. Or rather ask Giles. He’ll tell you where to get it.

  35. “The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness….
“Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught.” 2 Thessalonians 2:7-16

    • @T.B.Joshua watch.
I believe you have a less priviledged here. God has His reason for directing her here. Please don’t look the other way when your fellow brother/sister is in need.

      • @Doi,
Tell Sina to go to T B Joshua to collect some of the money he’s been collecting from the Lord’s people. After all, when someone attacks him with an axe, TBJ is able to set them up with thousands of naira !

      • @Doi,
        Is Jesus God?

It doesnt look good that you are avoiding this question. Its fundamental to all Christians. Saying He is the Messiah is not enough. Muslims, Jehovahs Witnesses and Mormons all say he is the Messiah.

But do you believe Jesus is God?

    • @ Sina,
Silver and gold have we none, but we give you the Word so you’d know the truth to set you free from the bondage of ignorance. Acts 3:6; John 8:32

    • Sina, I am sorry for the responses you received. If you have serious financial troubles, please, bring it to God in the Name of Jezus. Just cry out to God and poor out your heart, with whatever is bordering you. Just tell Him everything about your troubles. Ask Him what you need from Him, and trust in faith, that He will provide you and help you, because; He will. Jezus says; With men it is impossible, but not with God, for with God all things are possible”. Dont believe you are a less privilaged, or ignorant, . You are couraged enough to ask for human help, so ask God to help you, and He will do it.

  36. @Terrific.
How selfish and stingy you all are. You can’t even do an atom of what T.b. Joshua is doing today yet you open a blog to bring Him down. Here is an opportunity to help just one soul and all you do is quotting Apostle peter. Do you actually think Sina would listen to any of your words while in abject povert? Check your bible, No other apostle said ‘Silver and Gold i have non’ there’s no imitation. God use them differently but you rather die than to rescue a soul. God forbid! Selfish people!

Secondly. Aren’t you contradicting yourselves now? You call T.b.J. The antichrist, devil’s servant, nigerian 419 and yet you are asking me to direct her to thesame 419 as you claim to help her? Does anything good come out from an Antichrist?. This proves something to me.
The whole lot of post you make is not to warn or help/advice/rescue people but for your own selfish/classic/material interest. I really want to hear the views of other comenters. You guys Just want to bring down the name of A prophet who has uncountable people benefiting from Him. And you call yourselves group of Pastors? Rubbish!!!
Now i ask this question to you at tbjoshua watch. What is your aim of Setting up this wicked blog???

  37. Giles, your question can wait! Coz you guys are making me go angry here. You have to put Terrific’s brain in his head. I seriously believe the brain is out!

Wether Jesus is God or the Son of God has nothing to do with this post. It’s a personal belief and you shouldn’t use that to distinguish who is of God and of The devil. I’ve told you i’ll not stand here and say Jehova’s witnesses are wrong! And christians are right! No! So, for now answer my question; Why setting up this blog?

  38. Thanks, thats all I need to know 😉

I’ve been suspecting you are on a completely different belief to Christians for a while now. If you dont believe that Jesus, the Messiah is God Himself, then you are not a Christian.

If you believe that Jesus is the Messiah, a prophet, but merely a mortal man, then you fall in line with Muslims.

If you believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the Messiah, a prophet, but NOT God – you fall in line with Jehovah’s Witnsesses and Mormons.

If you say that Jesus is the Son of God, the Messiah, and God Himself, you fall in line with the Christians.

If you have issues confessing that Jesus the Messiah is God, forget the TB Joshua issue. You have far bigger problems.

    • @Giles. For goodness sake! Who said it’s only people who call Jesus God that are Christians? And those who call Him the son of God are not Christian? Where did you get this from? Can you prove this?
Meanwhile answer my question. What is the aim of setting this blog?

      • This blog is specially dedicated to T B Joshua, to expose his lies, deceit, fornication, adulteries, manipulations, false prophesies, doctrines of demons, and lately, to expose him as a false messiah !
And if you want your questions answered, why don’t you answer ours ?

      • Doi, you are of course free to believe whatever you want about Jesus, but you have to realise that to be a Christian means to subscribe to a particular set of beliefs. Some of these are less essential than others, but Jesus being God is one of the most essential of the lot. If you believe anything else, then simply put, you don’t believe in the Jesus of the bible.

John 1 starts with “1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

Then in verse 14 it continues “14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

Here it is quite clear that “The Word” is Jesus, he is both the Son of God, and God himself. He was there from the beginning and is the creator of all things. Believe what you like about Jesus, but don’t call it Christianity if your view of Christ contradicts the revelation of scripture.

  39. @Doi,
Shame on you ! You’re not going to divert anyone from the messiah question ! But I have every good reason to direct Sina to where he/she can go look for money from the collections which TBJ collects from the Lord’s people, and it is not TBJ’s money ! How much money did TBJ bring from his poor village of Arigidi to Lagos ? Please tell him to give some money to Sina, but whether Sina is real or fake is another issue, but that’s not the point of our discussion here.

  40. With Christianity, it is stated quite clearly in the Bible that Jesus is the Son of God –

(Matthew 3:17: “And a voice from heaven said, ‘This is my Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased’”)

and that He – Jesus – and God are one (John 10:30 – “I and the Father are one.”).

One cannot rightfully consider himself or herself a Christian without professing faith in Jesus as God.

  41. The Scriptures reveal that Jesus is God in human form, slain for the sins of the world (John 3:16).
Jesus – THE MESSIAH – came to provide salvation for all those who receive Him as Savior and repent of their sins and stop with their sins.
Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sins. Jesus provides salvation for us because we are absolutely incapable of saving ourselves.

  42. @ Doi
To answer in brief, the purpose of this blog is to expose TB Joshua. In this article, concerning whether he is the Messiah, I’m trying to get to the bottom of the definition of Messiah.

Well, you can ask Jehovah’s Witnesses themselves. They are very similar to what Christians believe, and you have to really sift through their literature to spot the differences. Apart from trivial issues like hell and blood transfusion, the single most important difference between JWs and Christians is that they say that Jesus is not God. He is a created being, like humans, God’s “firstborn”, and was sent to earth as the Messiah, the Son of God. But they refuse to say He is actually God.
I’ve had a few knocking on my door in the past and we’ve discussed these sort of things at great length.
Doi, if you have issues that Jesus is God, then you have taken a massive step away from Christianity. You really need to speak to your church leaders in scoan uk. Just ask them, is Jesus God? I know we dont see eye to eye on TB Joshua, but now that we have differing opinions on Jesus, I’m worried for you. Just go and ask whether Jesus is actually God or not

    • I certainly do not have issues that Jesus is God and He’s also the son of God. But pointing fingers at other religion as bad, is what i despise.

      @Terrific and Giles.
I didn’t ask my question because it hasn’t been answered but because i wanted a second confirmation. You all are now exposing your true nature and motives. At first your Authors said they have many people who have been affected with the happenings at Scoan and what to use this medium to warn other about T.b. Joshua as a false/fake prophet. Now, does anything GOOD come out from FAKE? I can recall you guys advicing people not to go to SCOAN and can worship God in their local church and they shouldn’t even watch Emmanuel T.v. But today, here you all are advicing your comenters to go to T.b. Joshua for help because you can’t render it. This means you actually believe there is something good coming out of Scoan which you’ll never mention because of hatred. What a SHAME! I can clearly see with this that your motives are far beyound warning others but to ruin T.b. Joshua’s reputation because of one or two issues you have with Him.
But the simple truth is that you have no right to criticize others when you can’t do better than they are doing. T.b. Joshua always advice us that instead of criticizing your fellow brother, you should do good to change the bad you see. That is what makes you a Christian and not condemnation. I believe i’ve answered your question. Now i have another question for you all. Does anything good come out of T.b. Joshua and SCOAN? YES OR NO.

      • @ WatchTBJoshua,
You guys are running away from the point at issue, namely, that T B Joshua is a false messiah. Where are the messianic prophesies that your fake prophet has fulfilled ? Then again, there is no “Sina,” but a diversion, to go away from this messiah question. And even if ” Sina is real, there’s no problem in going to TBJ to collect some money, if he/she wants it. Like I said, the money doesn’t belong to TBJ but to the Lord’s people. I’m not asking “Sina” to go join SCOAN, but to go collect money, and that’s it. Your question is entirely out of place and a diversion.
T B Joshua is everything that is evil and giving out money does not make him any more righteous than Satan himself.

      • @WatchTBJoshua,
There’s nothing wrong in pointing fingers at other religions, but everything that is right and true ! If you believe that there is no other way to salvation but through Jesus Christ alone like the Bible says in Acts 4:12, then you can point fingers at other religions as false religions and show people the right way to Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. John 14:6. Now we know that SCOAN doesn’t believe that Jesus is the only way to salvation, and that already confirms SCOAN as a cult !

      • Doi? Is that you? 😉

Yes of course there is some good in SCOAN. But it doesnt make it all good. There is some good in Islam, but it does not make it all good.
And you know, quick history for ya – when the Japanese invaded China in the 1930’s and murdered around 100,000 Chinese in Nanking, the German,a NAZI ambassador managed to use diplomatic ties to save thousands of Chinese.
It doesnt make the Nazis all good now, does it?

“But pointing fingers at other religion as bad, is what i despise.”
        -Watch TB Josha.

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!
        -Galatians 1:8

      • Watchtbjoshua, No, the answer is no, there is on long terms no good coming from tb-Joshua. It LOOKS like good, and it is; purerly false. This will become clear if you are longer with him. The anoitings are nonsence, just some fire-energy, and God knows of what source. Jezus heals immidiate and total. No; tb Joshua is a big lie and he mis-uses and deceives his disciples. They never gone receive anything he promise them. Nor from God, because the God of the bible does not live in scoan.

  43. and now, Watch TB Joshua….
Now that you have correctly said that Jesus is God, my question is this:

If TB Joshua is Jesus, and Jesus is God, does that mean that TB Joshua is God?

    • T B Joshua is a false prophet, and that is why he despises pointing fingers at other false religions, because he cannot stand for the truth of the Scriptures that Jesus is the only way. He believes Muhammed is another way and he believes Buddha and other false prophets all lead to salvation. What else do you expect when he himself believes he is the messiah and leads people to salvation ?

      • You lie ! You have claimed that T B Joshua is the messiah. You have claimed that Jesus did not fulfill ” Immanuel,” but TBJ did, and you have gone on and on to make stupid and irresponsible and worthless claims on your parochial blog, that your Nigerian false prophet, TBJ, is the messiah of this generation. Who else is the messiah, but Jesus ? Now if you realize the heat is too much for you to bear, the best thing is to make a public confession to the effect that you were wrong in claiming TBJ is the messiah. I do hope your next post will clearly address this issue so this matter can be put to rest, otherwise TBJ is in very big trouble and he won’t be able to extricate himself, nor can he save himself from the judgement to come !

      • @ WatchtbJoshua,

” This is NOT an official blog of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, nor is it in anyway affiliated to or endorsed by TBJ ministries, we’re distant fans of TBJoshua’s ministry with a keen focus on the stories blah, blah, blah…” You see, you people are just liars and deceivers like your master TBJ himself ! You make false claims to deceive people who don’t know TBJ and how he operates, but we know him better than he knows himself and better than you people claim to know. And I put it to you that T B Joshua is the owner of your blog and endorses, approves and dictates what you write on his blog. It is part of his satanic plans to project his name, and you’re doing his every bidding blindly and foolishly. Repent now and stop “projecting” TBJ and his doctrines of demons, lest the wrath of God comes upon you also !

      • You claimed that T B Joshua is distributing salvation to all those whose “files” are at SCOAN, making your fake prophet equal to Jesus Christ, because Jesus alone is the Saviour. Now, you just need to confess your sin of blasphemy and ignorance and ask the Lord for forgiveness, and tell TBJ to stop misleading you people !

  44. Aaaaaaaah-I see the snake is half way out of his hole. Good, you went to tell “daddy” everything and got a second confirmation from him to call Jesus God. Wonder if he meant it, as he is known as someone whose words you cannot trust (snake) and will use any and all means (eg the Sina story) to protect his reputation and build a name for himself.

We do not hate tbj or are jealous of him or try and break him down, but we hate his clever deceitful, Nigerian, 419 tricks that he is using to build his ministry and a name for himself and deceive the whole world!

Do not defend error or be part of it.

“Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower reaches to the heavens, SO THAT WE MAY MAKE A NAME FOR OURSELVES” – Gen 11:4.

That is not the way the Holy Spirit of God works. As messiahs in scoan you should know this?
I am actually getting tired of quoting the Word of God to all the ‘messiah’s’ in scoan.
But yeh, let me try again……….

Let see what Jesus the Messiah did.
“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
BUT MADE HIMSELF OF NO REPUTATION and took upon him the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men
and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross – Philippians 2:5-8

    Abram’s Solution to the Strife
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Abraham.
He left Babylon and obeyed God and left the place where the spirit of ‘MAKING A NAME FOR OURSELVES (Babylon)’was – “for he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God” – Hebr 11:10

The Holy Spirit is not in the “building a name and ministry for ourselves” business on this earth!

    • Surely, the snake is coming out of the hole because the heat is too much for it to bear and it is coming out to be killed with the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God !

  45. The biblical answer to your statements of:
……..But the simple truth is that you have no right to criticize others when you can’t do better than they are doing. T.b. Joshua always advice us that instead of criticizing your fellow brother, you should do good to change the bad you see. That is what makes you a Christian and not condemnation…..
….But pointing fingers at other religion as bad, is what i despise…

All false religions and churches came from a false prophet or leaders.
If you do not warn people about their errors or false religions they are caught in, it means you do not love them and do not care if they go to hell or not.

The Bible does not keep quiet if someone or group is in error, including other religions.

Now let us see what the Bible says about it again and not tbj:

    Old Testament:
Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, “Listen, Hananiah! The LORD has not sent you, yet you have persuaded this nation to trust in lies. 16 Therefore this is what the LORD says: ‘I am about to remove you from the face of the earth. This very year you are going to die, because you have preached rebellion against the LORD.’” In the seventh month of that same year, Hananiah the prophet died – Jer 28.:15-17
    And in
    the New Testament:
Alexander the metalworker did me a great deal of harm. The Lord will repay him for what he has done – 2 Tim 4:14
    Etc. etc.

The Apostles and Prophet in the Bible did not back down from speaking the Truth, or warn people, who were in error. They stood for the Truth.
They did not tolerate a fruitcake church united in errors.
Right and wrong living together and try to unite?!?!

    No no no……….

  46. Profhet tb Joshua, has in spite of his seemingly healing qualities, a violent and abusive spirit. This spirits are in his spirit. This creates the confusions about him and the anoiting he releases. The anoiting is at first loveble and becomes later on; hurting and paining. His words and statements are opposites, this means, it creates irritations, quilt and is putting down, because its on the flesch-level, not on spirit-level. So; in the natural he conjurings words, to trick and distract, to controle and demand. In the spirit he releases violent and abusive elements. He is in the flesch and in the spirit attached and addicted to this tendensies. His pride and self-glorifing is the result of a superior-inferior-complex. So; this is the mantel of profetic honour, the world was waiting for. He is not dangerous, he is a pityfull man. We better pray for his soul.

  48. just to see if i can post something.. The yard-stick by which we can discern error is the scripture. If certain happenings are divergent to the scripture, as it is the case with with the above mentioned man, we disragard them and consider them deceptons.

    • Yes, so many things happening at SCOAN are contrary to the Scriptures, but the pity of it all is the problem of ignorance on the part of the people who are being deceived by this false prophet. T B Joshua himself is deceived and he imagines he is messiah. It is a sad case of the blind leading the blind, so let us pray for those caught in this trap so that their deliverance may come sooner than later.

  49. Wow. Fascinating. I recall one comment made by one of his female disciples “Look now to the screen of your salvation.”

I tried to put that down to cultural/language differences but it has bothered me a great deal. There is no screen of salvation. Jesus is Salvation. Period. End of story.

  51. If what TBJ and everyone else are doing does not have God’s backing, they will surely crumble and come to nought. Every child of God is supposed to know the bible for themselves so that they can ‘test’ if the spirit behind ‘men’ of God is surely the Holy Spirit of God. I imagine if today, people would line up streets so that the shadow of a man of God may fall ln them and they get healed, or maybe if they are too sick to lie allong a street, someone will take a piece of cloth to the man of God to pray over it, and they put it on the sick person and they recover. Many of us would say thats witchcraft. But that the bible. Is there a formular to doing God’s work? How about making clay with sputum and ‘anointing’ EYES of a blind person! We would be shocked! So whats the formular to doing God’s work? What does it mean to say ‘greater works than these’ shall u do? And ‘be it unto you according to YOUR faith?’. And ‘in His is image created He them, male and female..’ what is the image, black? White? Yellow? Man is a creator like God! What is unacceptable to God is to be ambitious like lucifer, to say ‘i shall be like God’. Anyone who does that surely falls! Are you a child of God? Do you want others to know Him? Then point them to the true word of God and stop telling men of God how they should serve God who sent them, unless you are a ‘JOHN’ to them. Those ‘men’ of God in error will surely fall, God will not leave them alone deceiving His people. TAKE CARE TO YOURSELVES LEAST YOU MAY BE FOUND TO BE FIGHTING AGAINST GOD LIKE SAUL!
